Descrição do Produto: MaryRuth Organics Vitamin D USDA Organic
A aplicação do spray é simples e conveniente.

I’m glad I did a test spray of the Vitamin D3 into a trash can before I aimed it into my mouth. Remember those cheap, plastic little water pistols kids played with back in the 80s? This “spray” is like that. One rather forceful squirt comes out instead of a mist or droplets. The taste is stale olive oil. Easily washed down with a few glugs of water. You may crave a bruschetta or something after one pump. That’s fine – I expected that. Unlike D3 pills, this liquid does not upset my whiny little digestive system. I’ll still keep taking these d3 squirts, but I might try to find a replacement spray cap for the bottle so I’m not puncturing my mouth every time I use it.

I wanted a better way to absorb Vitamin D. I’m not outside as much as I need to be. Taking pills or chewable didn’t seem to be doing the job. I tried the liquid after reading reviews of Mary Ruth’s and knowing that liquid is better/faster absorbed. The pills have to be liquified by your stomach, so this jumps that step and it can’t be destroyed by stomach acid.
The tast isn’t so great ( not horrible), but that is overcome by the sprayer attachment. You can easily spray it on the back of your tongue or into your throat where you don’t really taste it. It will be absorbed from there too. The spayer also has a cap to keep it clean.
Overall, I’m pleased with the liquid D and plan to keep using it.

I have had low Vitamin D levels for probably my whole life, since I live in the Northeast and we don’t nearly get enough sun. I have been getting regular blood tests for the past 2 years since being diagnosed with MS. My NP at my neurologist office has told me for all of those years that I really need to work on my Vitamin D with supplements. I have always been apprehensive to spend money on supplements because I was always under the impression that they just make your pee really expensive, and you’d do better getting vitamins from food. However, vitamin D is mostly absorbed from the sun and there are few other ways to get it.
I decided to take this more seriously, since Vitamin D is so important for immune health and since it is now SO much more important for me. Since I also am trying to reduce my single-use plastic consumption, I was also looking for something that wasn’t in a plastic bottle. This bottle is glass but does have a plastic sprayer. I did comment on the Mary Ruth’s facebook page to see if these are entirely recyclable but only the glass portions are recyclable unfortunately. I guess any step is better than nothing.
My bottle came perfectly intact, no leaking, no broken parts. When I saw that it was olive oil based, I was worried because I hate the taste of olive. I am impressed though, as this is truly tasteless. Hence my 5 star flavor rating, because it is entirely flavorless and that is perfect. I actually do my sprays after dinner, and I immediately follow it up with the cherry flavored Vitamin B from Mary Ruths. I actually look forward to taking these.
I will update this in a few months when I have updated blood tests and see how this has changed my Vitamin D levels!

I have purchased many times. Easy to use, flavorless, gluten free and vegan. Works well at keeping my D levels in normal range during the long New England winters.

My first review on this product went something like this “great vegan option! Readily absorbed and had no taste at all, however it was a little expensive for me so I probably will not purchase again.” I received a long and thought out email from Michael who works at MaryRuth organics. Not only did he apologize for the financial inconvenience, but he offered to work with me on future pricing of the product just to keep me as a customer. He even sent me something in the mail. He truly cared enough to email and text me just to make sure I was satisfied! Nowadays it is very difficult to find trustworthy and kindhearted companies to support but this is without a doubt one of them! Just knowing that my money is going to such a considerate and kind company is good enough for me to buy Again! Plus, the product is great 🙂

Love this as it’s the only vitamin D that doesn’t flare my IC as it’s just D and olive oil. Also my son loves this too and only way he will take vitamins as he doesn’t like the gummy versions or flavored drops. Wish all vitamins could be in olive oil.

I must’ve been deficient in vit D and this was a noticeable boost once I started. I trust this brand for myself and my children.

I bought this for my 18 month old daughter. We used to have drops and it was very inconvenient, as the child did not want to wait so long for the drop to drip. I’m glad I bought it.
