Maria Aires Skincare Hydrating Facial Cleanser (100ml) – Anti-Aging Foaming Face Wash with Hyaluronic Acid and Essential Ceramides – Soothing Aloe Vera for Dry, Sensitive Skin – For Men and Women
This is NOT a Foaming cleanser. It is advertised as such. I tried this cleanser and found it left my skin feeling clean, but excessively DRY. I have Mature DRY skin, and have used Ponds cleanser for years, as it leaves my skin moist, giving a good foundation for my skin care products; including serum, day cream, night cream, eye cream and facial oil.
I will finish this bottle, but don’t feel compelled to order it again.
At the time I ordered this cleanser, it was excessively priced at $40. That’s 8 times as much as the Ponds cleanser.
🤗 Thank you so much for taking the time to read this review, have a FANTASTIC day!!😊

Never before have I personally spent $39 on a facial CLEANSER, but I have tried ones at this price point and higher, and most do not impress me much, not enough to be worth the hefty price tag, but this one owns it! Every last little penny!!
My over the counter cleansers usually have acids in them to help strip away my makeup and oil, and tighten pores (temporarily) but leave my face tight and dry. I even turn out a bit reddened after use. Introducing Maria Aries hydrating facial cleanser. It’s my new holy grail! Even the most oily skin like mine requires hydration. This product does this, but I am not left at all greasy. It’s positive moisture, not oil slick moisture. My skin is soft and NO MORE DRIED OUT SKIN & NO REDNESS 🙌. I believe it says for dry skin, but again, oily skin needs moisture too, so this can literally be used on any skin type with confidence. Sensitive skin like mine gets soothed by these awesome ingredients, which not a one of them irritate me in any way. I truly feel like I’ve fallen in love with this stuff within merely days of use 👍.
The price might be a bit higher then some people are used to spending, but your skin will thank you, and it’s rare for me to say an expensive skin care product is worth it 100%, because of how frugal I am by nature, but this stuff leaves my skin clean, hydrated, soft and not angry, and THAT is worth it in my book!
I’m really enjoying the Maria Aries line. I think her products are top notch in comparison to many of the others I have tried. I’d love to test them all! The bottle is a generous size, and you don’t need a lot of product with every use, so your money will go further then you may have expected going in.
I HIGHLY recommend this product! It has earned this…
5 stars!

This face wash is supposed to be for all skin types but I don’t think that’s true. I have normal skin with an oily T-zone. I only use non-foaming cleansers because foaming cleansers are too drying on me.
After washing my face with Maria Aires Hydrating Facial Cleanser, my skin felt over-cleansed and squeaky. It did not feel tight but definitely did not feel hydrated and nourished. This was the only product that I changed in my routine for about a week and my lifestyle did not change. I had 5 pimples develop during this time which is highly unusual. I also noticed a lot of texture issues developing on my chin and jaw which was due to clogged pores. At this point, I’m not going to be using this face wash because it definitely doesn’t do the job.

This cleanser is in a creamy texture that is hard to spread, and I don’t feel my skin is cleaned thoroughly after cleaning. My face feels so much greasier than before I washed my face, then I have to use another foamy face soap to wash the face again. Maybe this is not for the combination skin type, but it might be good for dry skin.

This is an unusual and lovely facial cleanser. It is packaged in a heavy glass bottle, so this will be a product that I keep on my sink stand and not something I will be able to use in the shower. It has a pump dispenser and I don’t need to use a lot for a nice, clean feeling that doesn’t dry out my skin as so many cleansers do. The cleanser is white with an almost silver sheen and it looks and feels more like a moisturizer than a cleanser; it only produces a small amount of lather. It does indeed have an unexpected texture, rather slippery as another reviewer mentioned. It has a slight scent from some of the essential oils that I don’t particular care for but it isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t last very long. The cleanser is easy to apply and spread over my face and neck. It doesn’t rinse away completely, but seems to leave a light oily film on my face. I have very dry, rough and dehydrated skin and this seems to help hold in some of the moisture and works well with my toners, serums and creams. It seems to be well formulated and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all. However, at $39.90 for just 3.5 ounces, this is much pricier than any of the cleansers that I typically buy that seem just as effective. I will enjoy using this up, but repurchasing it is completely out of my budget.
