With supplements it is kind of hit and miss. Some work and some don’t so I always approach them with low expectations. This supplement actually lives up to the hype in my case, however. I could tell within a week my eye moisture improved, and has continued to be improved since starting the product.

My aged mother has difficult to control glaucoma. She also has a “delicately attached” retina. Trying to keep the pressure in her eyes with the prescription medication caused her eyes to be so dry that her corneas developed “ridges.” Her eyes were so dry and with the ridges, the eye doc said that if I didn’t irrigate her eyes with natural tears 5 or 6 times a day, she could lose her vision. It wasn’t that I wasn’t willing to do that for her, but that she would not allow it. I started using this Maqui Berry supplement 6 months ago after her last doctor visit. It seemed to me that by the end of the first bottle, her eyes were less irritated, so I kept using it and as time passed, it seemed that her eyes were not nearly as dry. Most days, I am able to apply natural tears two times – but sometimes only once. All I have done differently in the last 6 months is give 1 Maqui Berry capsule 2 times a day. Yesterday, my mom saw her eye doctor who was surprised to see that her corneas were completely smooth in both eyes! According to my experience, this product is miraculously beneficial for dry eyes. I plan on continuing to give my mom 2 capsules a day for the rest of her life. The doctor said he was going to get some for himself and suggested that I might want to start using it also.
