Love the product I have dry skin especially in the winter. A little hard to use . You do have to dig it out and let it melt between your hands. There is no smell, thank goodness. The consistency is thicker than coconut oil. But the skin soaks it up.

Great when combined with regular hand cream (does not have to be expensive, something like Suave), a dash of dimethicone (for chafing by creating a protective barrier on the skin). I use it cycling and running.
This particular brand is supreme as it odorless – other brands have a distinct smell.

I have had severe dry skin for several years. It was like dandruff of the skin and very embarrassing. And I certainly never wore black! I was using every grocery-store lotion and cream I could find and Aveeno Oatmeal soap to bathe. Nothing worked. I have many, many bottles of only partially used products because when they don’t work, I move on to buying something else. This is the first time I have ever used Shia cream. This is a super product with little scent; all around great for severe dry skin. I read a lot of reviews about different Shia creams containing a lot of granules from particles. But this cream is very smooth. Occasionally there’s a little granule but not much. I also read a lot of unrefined Shia products that had a lot of odor. This product has very little scent and it is not noticeable once rubbed into the skin.

this is my first four a into pure Shea butter, and I didn’t really know what to expect. I thought it would be more creamy and closer and consistency to Solidified coconut oil, But it was much drier and waxier.
I think it is probably best used an ingredient Mixed with other emollients But I will look for a few “recipes” online. On whim I just mixed it with some coconut oil that I had and it made a spread very nicely. I tried rubbing some Shea butter by itself on my hand, and it just crumbled. Mixing it with coconut oil seem to make it more like a lotion or body butter. It was very moisturizing, but maybe a little bit too greasy. I’m going to have to play around and experiment more with new “recipes”.
The scent of the shea butter all by itself was very minimal, almost undetectable. The scent was neither unpleasant nor was it particularly pleasing. It’s slight and it’s just kind of “there”.
The formula seems rich, but it’s not creamy at all. It’s very dry and it doesn’t smooth red Leon skin or melt at skin temperature like coconut oil does.
It did leave my skin very moisturized however, you have to be careful because if you are using this product to make a DIY lotion, cosmetic, hair or bath product, in all likelihood it will Make your skin be very slick and slippery.
Also cautious that you’ve either allowed all or most of it to absorb into skin &/or toweled off the excess before putting on clothing. It doesn’t “stain”sheets or clothes exactly, but any access left on your skin will be soaked up by fabric It comes into contact with. if you don’t first towel it off your skin, it look like you left sweat stains (that are actually oil and will not evaporate) If nothing else, make sure you wipe the excess of hands and feet & be careful walking barefoot on tile or wood floors. Don’t sit on anything upholstered, don’t hug anyone wearing a rented tuxedo & don’t get dressed right away in anything that can’t be thrown in a washing machine or easily wiped clean.
I would recommend this as an ingredient for for DIY beauty products or a for a relaxing spa night at home.

I absolutely love and need Shea butter as part of my daily hygiene routines, my skin loves it. That being said, I was extremely disappointed with this. I feel like they do a great job of hyping it up to be different and the truth is it’s not! There are only a couple Shea butters I’ve found that don’t have the nutty aroma. I can’t do it, I’ve tried, I’ve mixed essential oil. I’ve tried fragrance oil as well and I just cannot seem to get away from that scent!

Feels really light on the skin it’s not greasy at all. It provides the skin with sufficient moisture
and is easily absorbed into the skin. It doesn’t have the most pleasant smell but once you get used to it it doesn’t bother you at all. Would definitely recommend. I will be making another purchase.
