My doctor recommended I get some cocoa butter for added hydration to my dry skin. My 65 year old skin LOVES it and feels fantastic! It’s not greasy (oily) so I don’t have to worry about staining my clothes, sheets, or furniture. Very easy to manipulate and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. Perfect price point for the size and quality. Also does not have a scent so no clashing with your perfumes/colognes.

It doesn’t have the cocoa smell that is characteristic, nor the butter like color. That makes me think is not 100% pure.

THe packaging says it’s 100% pure and unrefined cocoa butter but it smells nothing like cocoa butter and feels nothing like cocoa butter, the consistency is completely wrong and it smells like something else entirely, I have no idea what it truly is.

This product is very moisturizing and had cleared up some very dry patches on my arms. It is fairly grease at first, but absorbs quickly. I also like the price (a little goes a long way) and the fact that it is unscented.

I thought I was buying unrefined cocoa butter but it’s not. It doesn’t smell like it should and the consistency isn’t right. I bought it because I wanted the chocolatey smell. I’m only keeping it because I’m about to run out of the lotion I make with it and I don’t want to go through the return and sending me another one process 😳. I did get it on time as to why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

Cocoa butter is meant to be hard as a rock and smell like chocolate. Mine was not hard and had no smell. It rubs in like satin and is moisturizing but I did by it to combine with other raw oils to have a butter that offered a plethora of benefits. It is versatile in that it is raw and can be used with anything. But, I don’t know if it is real because of the attributes of the butter. The description does not list the butter as refined and deodorized as I believe it to be due to the softness and lack of smell. I won’t return it though because it serves its purpose and it’s small.
