Purchased this for the first time just a week ago, and I am already highly addicted to it. The scent is amazing. My husband says it smells like sugar cookies. I’m not convinced that he’s right, but it certainly smells good enough to eat. Every time I open the tub, he wanders in from the other room, drawn to the scent. I have seen more of him in the last week than I’ve seen him over the course of the last year, lol. I also love the texture of this body butter. It is luscious. There is just no other way to describe it. And my cuticles, which had been in horrible shape and seemingly beyond repair, are now wonderfully soft and pliable. And that happened within seconds of the first use. Those are all the things I love about this product.
Now for the one negative (and the only reason it lost a star.) I generally put it on at night (that scent! it promotes sweet dreams!), but by the next morning, there are rough patches on my hands that are super dry. They weren’t there before I used the product either. I add some other body butter (from the Body Shop) and they go away almost immediately, so it’s not so bad. But my BS body butter doesn’t smell as heavenly, and the texture isn’t as nice, so I guess I will keep switching between the two.

I have very mixed feelings about the body butter. After putting it on, my hands are very greasy and it smells strongly like sunscreen (my boyfriend came up with that description too after smelling it). After around 10 minutes, it has absorbed into my skin, moisturizes better than almost anything else, and starts to smell like roses. I like using it right before bed (with gloves) but would not wear it out of the house.
Other people have said things about the size. It is smaller than I expected but it does go a long way. This container will probably last around 3 months with liberal usage every night.

I got the peppermint vanilla because I loved the Candy Cane body butter by Tree Hut, and just NEEDED another sweet-smelling lotion that tingled with peppermint. This is less sweet and more peppermint, and imo a much better moisturizer than Tree Hut. I’m not sure how some folks were less than impressed with this stuff, maybe the “new and improved formula” really is new and improved? I don’t know, but it’s great. The mint overpowers the vanilla at first, but 5 hours later, my skin is soft and smells like actual, natural vanilla–and nothing else. Has an expiration date on it a year and 4 months away. 5 stars, expensive, but will buy again.

Rich and moisturizing body lotion that isn’t sticky and will prevent that itchy, dry winter skin. You only need a small amount and there’s no chemical/hidden or secondary scents that often come with body butters! It is what it says it is!

The color and texture were right but the scent of roses it was not. Plastic ferns more like it. My skin also didn’t feel moisturized I can’t in good conscience where this all over my body in public for fear of being shooed away. This is strictly going on the feet! Will not be buying again

Great value for the money. I use it after my shower. My skin is so soft and glowy. I like that it is unscented so that I can layer fragrances. Feels greasy at first then settles into the skin after like 5 mins. This one is good for every day use, seems to last for about 10 hrs of moisture and non ashiness lol. Will buy again.

What can I say bout this heavenly whipped body butter…it is everything I wanted. The smell is strong, definitely smell the peppermint more than the vanilla. However I love peppermint and I did purchase this during the holiday season so…I love the smell. To me the scent smells edible…very pleasant…scent stays on my skin for quite some time. No less than 5 hours…I still smell it faintly after application on my body.
I highly recommend this product..I have used the shea butter and the cocoa butter…experiencing the whipped butter has been a dream…smooth application, not too heavy definitely NOT LIGHT! My skin is moisturized after, not sticky. I just can not say enough positive things about this whipped butter.
Now…it is small for the price you pay…9oz…I spent $18. I don’t mind the packaging…the container is not glass, it’s a hard plastic container but durable enough. Top is easy to twist off.

The product texture and consistency is surprisingly light for a shea butter based product. I used several layers and even then my skin was dry and itchy within half an hour of application. Not what I expected at all.
