    I made my own lotion at home using Shea butter but could not stand the scent. I heard you could use mango butter instead. I tried it and absolutely LOVE it! No scent at all, buttery soft moisturizing. I will never use store bought lotion again!

    I use this African grade Shea as I make my own body lotion. It is really nice with a combo of cocoa butter and coconut oil and some essential oils. Really helps the rough areas of the skin. Good value for the price and amount that is in the bag . A little goes along way

    I make my own deodorant and this shea butter is fabulous. I infuse calendula and chamomile flowers into coconut oil then add shea butter and magnesium hydroxide to neutralize the pH an arrowroot powder for thickening. This shea butter is soooooo smooth and penetrates the skin beautifully.

    I like that it’s so soft(compared to cacao butter for example), I can split it up as much as I need to, and it goes good as a staple in homemade soup or as a regular butter for fried bread/cake or whatever we call what I’m making.

    Many uses for moisturizing. Love the natural nutty scent. Inner packaging a little awkward to manage after opening. Smooth, solid texture. I added a bit of walnut oil to thin it for easier spreading.

    I decided to try this on a whim and was happily surprised. It created a lovely soap that left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. Unfortunately, it wasn’t cost-effective for my products in large batches.
