Great ingredients, great value for the money, Manuka honey isn’t cheap, but the taste just is lacking. It’s very strong, stronger than anything I’ve tasted before. I do believe in the health benefits and the healing properties though, so I will continue to consume

This product smells and tastes so bad it almost doesn’t seem edible. The seller says this is sweet and shows pictures that look like honey mixed with seeds. This was not sweet at all and I mixed it very well and it still doesn’t look like the pictures. When I look at the ingredients on the back it shows that this is actually 80 percent black seed oil with 10 percent being black seeds and 10 percent being honey. This was one of the worst things I have ever tasted and I feel like this was falsely advertised.

This was shocking. I honestly thought that someone had tampered with my product and put in some sort of petroleum product in my jar due to the texture (oil) and smell. However, my package was securely saftey sealed under the jar lid, in addition, there was a plastic seal on the lid that was not broken. It it were not sealed so well, I would have sworn that this was just a bunch of black seeds in a jar of motor oil. The taste was not at all sweet or honey tasting. Very bitter and oily. The jar is mostly oil with the seeds and “honey” at the bottom. No amount of mixing will make it look like the picture in the listing of thick dripping honey. It is an oily bitter liquid with clumps of black seeds. Upon mixing a piece of plastic came up from the bottom of the jar. POOR QUALITY CONTROL. Does come with a nice wooden spoon in elegant packaging but that in now way makes up for the garbage that is in the jar..

The product’s description and images are very misleading in the product representation as this product is mostly oil-based, and seemingly hardly any honey. The package came leaky with the oil and I was skeptical if this was motor oil or otherwise, from the smell. I originally thought that because I was expecting a mostly honey-based product, but turns out it’s mostly oil in a jar. The safety seal was broken and halfway unsealed causing the oil to leak out of the lid. Being in this condition, I was not confident to sample the product and it’s taste due to the fact the safety seal was broken. In all fairness, though, we do live in a warm desert environment and some of our orders might come warm, so this could have an effect on the safety seal, not being sealed properly.
I was a little disappointed as the images indicate a mostly honey appearance and consistency, which it’s not.
It comes with a nice wooden spoon though!

This is DISGUSTING. It tastes and smells terrible. There is like ZERO honey in it. It is all black seed oil. I tried to stir it and found there was a plastic film at the bottom of the jar I fished out, so I no longer trusted the product and did not taste again to see if maybe the tiny bit of honey that settled made a difference in the taste. I threw it in the garbage.

First thing I noticed when opening my package was that there was liquid everywhere. I thought for sure the jar had broken during shipping but to my surprise it was completely in tact. Not only that, it still was factory sealed. So I want to call out that this jar is not air-tight and doesn’t even hold the liquid it’s supposed to which is going to be a cause for alarm.
The actual product is very misleading in my opinion. When you read the fine print you find that (80%) of it is black seed oil. There is very little Manuka Honey or Black Seed in it. When you get it open you have to stir everything to try to break it up because the honey and seed has formed a brick on the bottom of the jar. I sifted apart the oil and the seed/honey to see the distribution by weight and in my experience my jar yielded a distribution much closer to 90% oil, 3% honey, 7% seed.
As far as taste, I think it tastes fine. If you know what black seed oil is, you kind of know what you’re getting into. If you don’t, it’s a kind of odd mix of an oregano/cumin type flavor but more mild and sweeter.
I can’t say if this will do anything long term because there’s no information about the quality of the seed oil or any components, which leads me to believe this is just a money grab product. I can’t recommend it based on all of these experiences.

I ordered this thinking I was ordering Manuka Honey. This is NOT Manuka Honey. This is Black Cumin Seed Oil with a splash of Manuka Honey. Fortunately, I already take Black Cumin Seed Oil as a potent immune booster. So I will put this to good use. Black Seed oil is extremely strong tasting and is not something I enjoy taking. I take it purely for health. I can understand why someone would feel upset receiving this if they were expecting honey. I think the description could be more clear as to what the product is. Then it would get it into the hands and cupboards of people who would appreciate what IS A GOOD PRODUCT (just not honey). I also appreciate the wide amber glass jar and cute wooden spoon.

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure what to expect. I know manuka honey is good for you, so I thought I would try it.
I was expecting it to be a little thicker, but it is extremely thin and runny. Not what you’d normally expect from honey, but the oil thins it out, I guess.
The black seeds and black seed oil lends a VERY earthy taste to it. I tried tasting it on a biscuit (nope), straight (nope) and in a flavored drink or water (yes).
The earthy taste doesn’t bother me as much as the oily taste. I’m going to continue to try and get my tsp/day and play around with it.
