This is a nice set, and I have both positive and negative thoughts to share about it. First the good things… This is a very attractive set, it comes in a well constructed and handsome box and would make an attractive gift. Inside the box, the two canisters are nestled nicely, and there’s also a booklet inside, which is labeled the “Skincare Bible”, which has 12 pages on skin care, as well as on diet, hydration, sleep, habits, exercise, etc. as well as listing the ingredients of these two skincare products. The containers are each a little interesting, with the top of the shave gel having a clear plastic top inside of the black plastic cap, but the moisturizer canister is more interesting, and I will admit that initially I actually couldn’t figure out how I was supposed to open the top of it. The red top looks like it would push down and pivot to open, so that is what I was trying to do, but instead it has a really neat opening mechanism, which involves you turning the silver part at the top of this cylindrical container, and that causes the smaller diameter black top to slide down and expose more of the red push button top, and at the same time that unlocks the top so it can be pressed to dispense the moisturizer. It is a neat and fun mechanism, and that does add value to this as a gift, and that interesting opening mechanism is actually my favorite part of this whole set.
As others have pointed out, this does have a eucalyptus scent, which is not overpowering, It is pleasant and is a mild, clean, fresh scent. The moisturizer is not a pure, bright, white color, like many moisturizers, and instead has a bit of an off-white to mildly yellowed coloration. It is a smooth and pleasant moisturizer, which absorbs quickly, and provides a very nice amount of moisturization without being greasy, and it just generally feels very good on the skin. Now that we have used it a bit, my wife and I find this to be a very nice moisturizer. Similarly, the shave cream feels pleasant on the skin, and provides good razor lubrication for a good shave, with a mild clean scent. It does not provide a more luxurious shave than my other less expensive shave creams, it is a bit thin, which makes it a little harder to spread around the beard area as easily as a thicker cream, because it has somewhat of a tendency to run down the face and between fingers while spreading it, but my skin does feel more moisturized after shaving with this compared to most other shave creams, and it does a good job lubricating the razor for a nice pleasant shave.
My primary concern about this product is the current listed price of $99, and while I often shave with expensive shave creams, they still cost a fraction of this one, and I do prefer shaving creams such as Taylor of Old Bond Street, Geo F Trumper‘s, or Truefitt & Hill, with a badger shaving brush, though there are also similar other nice shave creams that cost less than this that don’t need a brush and provide a shave as nice or better. So, this is a nice set, it is very attractive, I definitely like the opening mechanism on the moisturizer, I do find that it gives a nice close comfortable shave, and it leaves my skin somewhat more soft and moisturized after shaving, but it is too expensive. I can instead definitely recommend the shave creams I listed above. I would not plan to purchase this in the future myself primarily because of the price, but I am definitely enjoying it, and will make good use of both the moisturizer and shave cream.. I hope some of this information might be helpful for you.

Overall, this is really nice men’s facial cream. He really liked the scent and how quickly it absorbed into the skin. He’s pushing 40 and is always in the sun. He likes simple, easy to apply products that don’t smell like perfume. This was great and he really liked how it feels.
Scent:
Not overly scented but you can smell the Eucalyptus and a hint of the menthol/peppermint.
Texture:
Light weight cream, it’s tinted (mica and caramel). Feels nice on the skin and absorbs quickly.
Application:
Just apply 2 pumps day and night

Starting off, the MadeMan Collection – All-In-One Moisturizer and Cleanser & Shave Gel Combo | Premium Skincare Simplified (Re(Set) Travel Kit) packaging looks great: bold white text on black background, carbon fiber looking cardstock, windowed and molded to the enclosed product, it definitely looks like an expensive item.
Both products have a very pleasant smell (I do like eucalyptus), not too much, and you get that slightly tingling skin when you use them. The Resetter cleans really well and doesn’t leave any soapy residue after rinsing. It says you can use it as a shave gel and that’s just ridiculous: it doesn’t lather up anywhere close to being a shaving lubricant. So for a facewash it’s a yes, for a shave gel that’s a no.
The Refresher goes on smooth, easily absorbs, and doesn’t have any greasy feel. I’ve been using it predominantly under my eyes/upper cheeks as it’s such a small tube. I can’t say I’ve seen any real improvement in ‘reducing fine lines’ but my face does feel moisturized.
The biggest drawback is the price of course. If you can draw this one package out for 10 days that’s $48 a month. Although I like the ‘spa’ feeling and quality of the product, to me it’s just not that worthwhile. But this would make a nice gift or good for use on a romantic getaway.

I’m really picky when it comes to men’s grooming products. The smell of the face cleaners and moisturizer is amazing (Eucalyptus). I agree with some reviews which discuss the lather being a bit thin to be effective to shave with. I thought the same but pair it with Barber 501 booster which is a great combo.
