At first I thought it was just me, but as I started to read the most recent reviews I noticed that the reviews were getting worse. I noticed after November customers were complaining about the taste. They were right!! This stuff is HORRID!!! I purchased two Vanilla’s , because they were on sale for about 25$. The taste is really bad, kind of like drinking salt water, and a bad medicine concoction . I would look elsewhere if you like a good tasting protein powder. I think the company, and Amazon should be aware of this situation. I think if they offer you vanilla , it should taste near or at vanilla. It might be a bad batch of this product, and everyone who purchased this should get a refund!!

First off, I hope this company is truthful in their labeling. There are LOADS of typos which makes me wonder. Having worked in the food industry for the past 20 years, labeling is one of those areas where data and information is frequently either blatantly wrong or misrepresented. Companies get away with it until they are caught. Unless I have a sample sent to a lab for analysis, which is also a shot in the dark for accuracy, it is impossible to verify any of the data.
I bought the vanilla and the taste of the product is strong with stevia. I’ve tried to cut the sweetness with 15g of Hershey’s Special Dark 100% Cacao powder to the 32g serving but it is still super sweet. I mix it with 1 1/2c of 0% milk and it surprisingly isn’t too bad. The “Natural and Artificial Flavors” is always questionable. Manufacturers can hide a lot in that category.
Overall, the product appears to be decent by the declarations they are making on the label.

It’s very frustrating because the taste is good but it’s too sweet, making it cloying. I give it two stars because I can’t drink it. Once again, I wasted money on protein that’s not good. I don’t understand why they put so much sugar in it. It’s horrible!

Initially it smelled good (Vanilla). When it first hit my lips it was ok. As I drank the taste got worse. It tastes like medicine. There is something about it. I don’t know what it is, but it’s definitely not an intentional advertised flavor.

I really enjoy this protein shake overall! I like the smoothness and taste of it–really tastes good with cold water or coconut milk. I do notice that there’s a weird aftertaste whenever I drink the protein shake and eat something afterwards though. O_O Unsure.

I’ve tried numerous chocolate protein powders, but none compare to this one! Not only does it have the best flavor, but it’s also incredibly easy on the stomach. I’ve had issues with other brands causing bloating or discomfort, but this protein powder goes down smoothly every time. It has an extremely bitter taste that’s deeply concerning. I’m honestly scared to even drink it. I don’t trust this brand anymore—please consider buying a more well-known brand. This protein powder is so unpalatable that it’s hard to even swallow.
