Blends easily into a drink or smoothie, with no noticeable added flavor. Smells fishy, obviously it’s made from fish, just don’t let that put you off. Too expensive for me to use long term, but seems good quality, for what that’s worth.

It’s hard to objectively judge collagen because you don’t see the results for at least a few weeks. It does work, in my experience, and is worth taking every day. Collagen powders are becoming very common as a result, at different price ranges and with some different characteristics. For example, collagen has a distinctive flavor and some products have little or no flavor.
This product tastes exactly like collagen should (for types I+III). There’s no tanginess or fishy flavor. It mixes up well but you also get the right amount of foam. So this is definitely collagen. And some products probably aren’t.
Having established that it is, I’m next wondering if there’s a difference in quality to other legitimate collagen products. I have no way to evaluate that, and LYS Beauty makes no specific statements that would indicate how it’s better than any other type I+III collagen – aside from it being from French Cod. The problem here is that this is a very expensive product for the quantity you’re getting, and it’s hard to justify. There’s much cheaper trustworthy collagen products out there.

I’ve only been using this for a few days, so it’s hard to say if it’s having any real effects on my complexion. I’ve been mixing this is water with flavored water packets. It does add a slight flavor but not enough to be distracting or gross. I’ve only been mixing partial serving sizes and spreading it out throughout the day rather than all at once.

This jar of Premium Marine Collagen powder from LyS Love Yourself arrived as shown in the listing here. The jar contains 240g of Marine Collagen powder and according to the label each serving is to be a 1.5 teaspoonful. This is a bit vague, but if looking at the Supplement facts label it reads that each serving contains Marine Collagen – 8g. So, this jar provides thirty 8g servings of Marine Collagen Peptides powder. After that I read the Directions on the label, it mentions to mix 2 or more scoops daily with water, juice, or your favorite beverage or as recommended by a healthcare professional. Inside the jar there is a plastic scoop. This is why I weigh powders, as scoops of powders is not an accurate way to measure them.
I normally mix collagen with a morning smoothie thing I mix and this marine collagen powder mixed fine with that, I didn’t notice any change in the flavor compared to any other different collagen powder I’ve mixed in there before.
This marine collagen powder contains no other ingredients, the only ingredient listed is, “Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen from North Atlantic Ocean Wild-Caught Codfish Skins. Overall, this collagen powder is as I expected, no complaints. Made in France.

This powder collagen supplement is something I decided to try because I am now over 50 and just feel like I need to make sure I’m doing what I can to stay healthy. This is a little over 8 oz and over $80 currently. That’s slightly more than $10 per ounce, really. I know that isn’t cheap, so I thought even if I liked this, it would seem overpriced. Now that I’ve used this a couple of weeks, I really think it’s worth every penny. I’ve tried other supplement powders and always hate the aftertaste and end up not using them. This powder isn’t like that for me. It is pretty much undetectable in my morning coffee. I limit myself to only the one cup every morning, so that’s when I choose to mix in this supplement to get my daily serving. The amount needed is small. The container is a good size, and the powder seems to still have plenty in there after more than 14 days of me using this. It goes a pretty long way. I’m liking the way I feel with this. I feel a little less tired and my hair looks much better than it did. I have a lot of dry brittle hair, but it seems to be improving. I have always been blessed to grow nails quickly and have never worn false nails. Now they are seriously growing like crazy, compared to the already good rate they already grow. I’m thinking this product is something I’ll continue to use and would be willing to purchase once this order runs out. Needless to say, if you are looking for a good collagen powder, I’d recommend this one.

This is a simple-to-take daily collagen powder. You only need one small scoop, and it blends easily with water and other liquids. haven’t experienced any negative effects from taking this supplement. I definitely recommend this product!

Love that LYS is a complete collagen supplement offering four different sources and contains no dangerous additives or fillers and no synthetic vitamins. I have been using other marine or bonvine collagen supplement for a while and felt immediate benefits from switching to this product that I never felt before. I can see the result within 2 weeks. Joint support and is the most noticeable. Also, my skin looks moisturized, hair is shinier and nails grow like crazy. Quality and clean/pure product, a bit expensive comparing to other brands, but will continue to buy it.
