These eye compress feels really good after a stressful day of looking at the computer screen. It smells really good and the heat distributes evenly and stays warm for a long period of time. It came with clear instructions and with a pouch to store in as well to microwave so it does not get contaminated and came with a sample bag of the flaxseeds.

Love the smell of the eye mask and it really holds the temperature. Since it has ridges it helps block the light. Once I heated it up and use it, I am so relax and able to sleep. Love that the color is purple.

The Luxtude Heated Eye Masks with Flaxseed & Lavender is heavenly! The fabric is incredibly soft, it feels great against my skin. The mask is filled with flaxseeds. In addition to providing the warmth to the mask, these seeds also give it a bit of a weighted feel. It nestled comfortably against my eyelids providing the heat I needed to alleviate my dry eye discomfort.
The Luxtude mask seems to heat much faster than similar products I’ve used. I typically require 40 seconds to reach my desired heat level, but that was a bit too much with this one. I actually had to let it cool a bit before use (35 seconds was perfect in my 1250-watt microwave). The flaxseeds do a great job of producing a moist, therapeutic heat, and the lavender smells wonderful. Heating instructions were a little confusing though. A small bag is included with the mask and there were instructions to remove the inner packet from the eye mask, place it in the bag, then heat in the microwave for 15 to 60 seconds. Yet other instructions state that there are no metal parts on the mask, so place the entire mask in the heating bag and microwave it. I examined the mask, I didn’t notice anything that looked metal, so I opted to put the entire mask in the bag to heat. That worked fine, all parts of this mask are safe for microwaving. The moist heat felt wonderful, and it stayed at a therapeutic heat level for about seven minutes before gradually flowing into a gentle warmth.
I truly loved everything about this mask: the softness, shape, weight, moist warmth and performance. The heating bag doubles as a storage bag, I like that too. I even enjoyed the inclusion of a small bag of flaxseeds inside the package. (I’m assuming they want customers to see what the mask filling looks like.) I believe this is a very nice heating mask, it would make a fantastic gift for a friend or a wonderful treat for oneself. I’m happy with this order.

I used this item twice and went to use it a third time it caught on fire and it burned the zipper off and the actual mask.

My last one was ruined by over-heating in the microwave. Using the bag with this 1, excellent product for eye care.

While this mask feels nice as a warm compress on the eyes, I just couldn’t get past the strong scent. I admit that I’m sensitive to strong smells, which is why I didn’t give the mask a negative review. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t fully enjoy the comfortable warmth on my eyes because the scent bothered me too much. I’d prefer a mask without a scent, or at least one with a very subtle scent.

This eye mask is really soothing. I’m sensitive to strong scents, and this is ALMOST too much for me to have right by my nose. However, I DO enjoy keeping it near me when I’m not using it, just to enjoy the scent.
It comes with the little pouch to heat it inside the microwave. There’s an instruction card for how long to heat it according to the wattage of your microwave, which I really appreciate!
The velvet fabric is cozy on my skin, and the strap is adjustable and comfortable. The seeds are double-bagged, so the outer layer can be removed and washed easily. There’s also a little packet of additional seeds. I guess it could be used to make it more solid, or in case some leak out. It looks like it would be fairly easy to open up one end and stitch it back up to add those.
I think others would also enjoy this heated eye mask.

This mask feels nice when on though I was a bit leery after the first time I used it, one of my eyes was burning (not from heat) the whole time. I was worried that I was having a reaction, but I do have sensitive eyes. Since then, it seems fine, but just use with caution if your eyes are sensitive.
