My son and I have Lymes disease and this was recommended by our doctor. We generally use it when we get run down , feel like we are getting sick or around people that have been sick. It works!! I mix it in juice, it has no taste and no I’ll effects. Great product , all natural and been around for ages

Worked well for cold/flu symptoms. A friend recommended that I try it, and I got both versions: this (no alcohol ) and another version/brand with alcohol. This one worked much better and was fairly pleasant to use/taste.

I’m very pleased with the quality of the Secrets of the Tribe Lomatium. It’s made from the dried root which is a must for my family as the fresh root tinctures give my husband an unsightly rash. This tincture does not. I’m also happy that the Lomatium is wild-crafted in the USA.
Lomatium is a very powerful antiviral and is the best cure for the flu that I have found. When my husband came home sick a couple of weeks ago and told me that his coworker had seen a doctor and been diagnosed with the flu, I began giving him the Lomatium three times a day along with an organic Ginger tincture (we use the Herb Pharm brand from Amazon). Within three days my husband was almost completely well and his coworker (on meds from the doctor) was still very sick and not able to work.
I’ve ordered an extra bottle (the expiration date is 3 1/2 years away) and will always keep some on hand especially during flu season.

Alcohol versions are not bad by any means but they can be hard of the palate for some people and other may not want alcohol to begin with. These alcohol free tinctures are very good. Also this one used dried root, apparently they cause less rash symptoms in people who use Lomatium.
This was ordered early February 2020 and the expiration date is 2024, so these will last for quite some time.

I was diagnosed with COVID-19, and felt really sick. Someone recommended I tried using this, and I felt better the next day. I don’t know if it was just a coincidence, or if it really helped, but literally the day after I started using it for the first time, I started feeling better. It still took another week before I was truly better, but the day after I used this was the first day that I woke up feeling a little better.

Compared to the Hawaii pharm Lo mati un i had, this one seems super watered down and ineffective. I’ve been using it for about a week with no noticeable improvement for the usual thing I use it for- which is acne.
The bottle is about twice the size of any other tincture offered, which makes me think they basically added the same amount of herb as the small sizes and watered the rest down. It tastes like sweet vegetable glycerine and is just barely pale yellow, not the dark brown I had with Hawaii pharm. so overall, I’d say this is a very weak and ineffective tincture. If you’re looking for a good alcohol-free lomatium id say go with another brand.

Love this brand of Lomatium! I’ve had others that have been thick with stringy, sticky material, but this one is thin and easily taken in a little water or juice. My kids take it daily in the fall/winter for flu/viral prevention. So far, it’s worked well. I take it 3x/day to help keep the chronic Epstein barr infection under control. I stopped it for several months in the summer and got worse, but once I restarted, energy and other symptoms improved! It’s also wonderful for helping with coughs/chest congestion. I have several friends and family members who use it as well and have experienced good results. No one has developed a rash that I’m aware of. Highly recommend Secrets of the Tribe.

Lomatium was recommended by an herbalist for virus protection. I’ve had 3 long lasting colds this fall and this product may have helped arrest and clear the last lingering cold whereas other herbal formulas did not help much. I have no hard scientific evidence, just personal experience and feeling my immune system boosted. I wanted to get away from using ibuprofen and tylenol so frequently. I was about to consult my primary care physician, which I also recommend, but thought I’d try this and I also like that this product does not have alcohol in it. I am well now thankfully. Perhaps better to take this when you feel initial cold/flu symptoms to boost immune system.
