This review came from my husband- I get very dry skin and especially my hands. I frequently use hand lotion to help with the dryness as I have sensory issues and it is almost unbearable. Most of the time I use what my wife has and it’s almost always something girly. I was happy to try this hand and body lotion and I must say the scent is definitely unique. Honestly it took a while to grow on me and frankly it is hard to describe but the notes are semi accurate to what it actually smells like. The lotion itself is great. It is very hydrating for my skin and helps keep my hands soft after washing and winter dryness. I used it on my body as well but I will generally use it for my hands. I do like the packaging it comes in. It’s very minimalist and simple. It would be nice to have a bottle that’s easier to take on the go (maybe in a tube) but since it is also a body lotion, it’s understandable why it is in a pump. Overall it is a bit expensive and the smell it maybe not my favorite but it’s a great lotion, good consistency and leaves the skin feeling really nice.

I have this at my bathroom sink and my nightstand. I’m in love with the scent. It makes my hand so soft and for a lotion it could pass for a body butter given its moisturizer ingredients. I have the matching body wash so the lotion is just the icing on the cake.

This Hinoki lotion from VILLAGE11FACTORY perfectly encapsulates the gentle scent of Japanese cypress into a rather unique rectangular pump bottle! The smell is gentle and neutral leaning on the feminine side of scent profiles. Typically, scents like this smell like stinky cologne but this was such a delicate scent that I have become obsessed with how good it smells. 🙂
The ingredients are good and hydrating for the skin, featuring good skin-nourishing ingredients such as Jojoba. Using just as a gently scented lotion, I did notice it helped protect my chapped skin while giving me a light scent that didn’t overpower others around me. It’s a woodsy smell with a faint jasmine note at the top that is barely there. The hinoki and grassy herbs are the most prominent notes and they poke through the most in the lotion but it’s such a delightful scent that makes me visualise a forest.
If you like the smell of Japanese cypress and are looking for a good fragranced lotion, this is a rather unique option! The smell isn’t overpowering and the lotion formula itself is rather good!

Ich habe dieses [VILLAGE11FACTORY] WILL COMFORT bestellt, um es nach dem Händewaschen zu benutzen, und mochte die Konsistenz und das Design der Verpackung. Das Design ist sehr schön, obwohl die Verpackung aus Plastik besteht. Der Duft ist ziemlich maskulin, also nicht unisex. Ich würde es eher empfehlen, wenn man einen maskulinen Duft mag.

This hand lotion is fantastic! The scent is light, but strong enough to come through as a more neutral and woody scent. It smells very natural and not abrasive. The lotion itself is soothing and hydrating, it feels like a higher quality bottle of lotion to offer in the guest bath than others.

The smell is fantastic – it’s delicate and light and close to what I imagined/expected based on the scent profile in the listing.
The lotion itself is exactly the type I like – light, absorbed quickly, and non-greasy. I used the lotion on my legs, which were starting to flake from a sunburn, and they looked great afterwards. I like that there was an immediate moisturizing effect.
I have to say again that I love the smell. It lingers for a bit and smells so fresh and clean!

This Kbeauty body lotion from VILLAGE11FACTORY in Hinoki is right in my lane scent-wise. I love warm, woody scents that don’t veer too masculine, and this is just perfect. If you lean into scents like Santal33 or like Aseop products, this will be right up your alley.
V11 from their namesake utilizes 11 natural ingredients in their formulations. This lotion is sls free, vegan and chock full of great ingredients. I love the texture (creamy, fast absorbing, not greasy) and most of all the scent. This to me is great for all Seasons except Summertime. This has been a frequent reach for me the past few months. Love it and will look for other items from this brand!

I am obsessed with the Le Labo hinoki scent hand have been on a hunt to find something that smells similar. I bought this in the hopes that I would be close enough but I was mistaken. I ended up returning it because I didn’t like the scent, but there’s nothing wrong with the lotion itself.

The lotion absorbs very easily without leaving a greasy layer, which I appreciated. It’s great directly after a shower while your skin’s still wet.
The description really emphasizes the hinoki, but I don’t get wood from it really, and the scent is much brighter than you’d expect from the name and color of the bottle. I still like it!
