Compared to many other body lotions, this lotion applies quickly, spreads easily, and absorbs quickly. I really dislike lotions that leave you feeling greasy… and this lotion does not! While the term “velvet” is certainly marketing speak, I do really like the way my skin feels after applying it. The smell, while quite enjoyable, doesn’t immediately make me think of autumn. It smells more like a mild men’s cologne – but some may equate that earthy, cozy scent with autumn. Overall, I really like this body lotion!

I really liked the lightweight qualities of this moisturizer. It blends into the skin effortlessly and keeps my skin hydrated. The fragrance is really light, which I like. It is particularly great on hands and gives them a soft, velvety feel.

This is a classic fragrance body lotion with ingredients such as shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin E and so on. I apply the lotion after shower and so far my skin feels more moisturized with a lasting scent. The lotion itself absorbs fast and does not feel sticky afterwards. In addition, this lotion is made in the USA and cruelty free!

This is really lightweight and I found it was very absorbent. Not greasy and it blended into my skin easily. My skin felt soft, but it wasn’t a heavy cream layer. My only issue is that it has parfum in it. I realize a lot of women like scents and that’s great, but most ‘parfum’ bothers me. I can’t go into those stores full of creams and sprays without getting a headache.
This one isn’t a very powerful scent, it’s pleasant, but it’s still enough to irritate my sensitive sense of smell. Again, that’s my own sensitivity so I don’t consider it an issue with the cream overall. I loved the consistency of this cream and it’s got some fantastic ingredients. Wish I could tolerate the scent, because it does make my skin feel very soft.

It’s a lush lotion that develops over time as it settles into my skin.
This is highly fragranced, but as a person who can be sensitive to certain perfumes, this is lovely.
It did not irritate my skin, just left it feeling soft and silky.
Dispenses easily and arrived sealed.

This body lotion is really nice. Just like the name says, it makes your skin feel super soft after applying it, like velvety soft, just like the name of the product states. It is very rich and creamy. It is pretty fragranced, I honestly like the scent, but for some people with sensitive noses it may be too strong. Overall it’s a great lotion!

The texture and moisturizing aspect of the lotion is decent, it definitely is more of a lotion texture to reapply and not a body butter that sinks in. My chief criticism is that the scent is just lackluster and not super pleasant which is what I look for in lotions primarily. It’s okay, it’s just fainter than I’d hope for and not a super pleasing scent.
