I’ve been primarily on a plant-based diet for some time and getting certain supplements in my diet can be problematic. One of them would be the Omega-3s, especially if I don’t have a bit of fish in the diet. I thought this particular supplement would be an easy way to obtain it when I don’t have some fish. Oftentimes orange flavoring is added, but the fishy taste will remain. I think the addition of the monk fruit cut that hard to deal with taste.
It’s an oil-based supplement, but it does mix well enough with liquids. Now, you only need ½ teaspoon in some cases. If you’re only on a plant-based diet, the fish taste will be a turnoff. It’s rather like eating a fish oil capsule. I would have liked to know the sourcing of the fish oil as it does matter to many people. The price of just over $40 is comparatively where it should be. The seal wasn’t great and I did have to wipe down the bottle when it arrived.
INGREDIENTS:
Highly refined omega-3 fish oil, natural orange flavor, tocopherols (from sunflower), monk fruit.
Manufactured in an FDA & cGMP registered facility.

I have taken fish oil regularly for quite a while, almost 20 years in fact. I do believe I am experiencing the cognitive and circulatory benefits. I consider it one of the reasons my brain is much sharper than a lot of people my age.
This is a good fish oil supplement. It contains the triglyceride form of fish oil (this is what the “TG” means on the bottle). It is a little complicated, but basically, the triglyceride form seems to be more easily used by the body, and is the natural form of Omega-3 fats in fish. Typically supplements contain the ester form. While the ester form seems to work just fine, there may be some benefit to the triglyceride form.
This formula has a higher DHA to EPA ratio (usually it’s the opposite). If you’re looking for more DHA, this is a perfect option. I like that it contains tocopherols to prevent rancidity (I always look for this in fish oil supplements).
The taste isn’t awful, but also not amazing. It is still fish oil no matter what flavors you add.
The company claims third-party testing, which is a good sign of quality. The price is kind of high compared to some other options.

Summary: We recently decided to switch our pups off of their heart meds, but we want to protect their hearts, and a vet mentioned a good source is fish oil. Ordered this to add a few drops on their meals. The liquid form gives us the option to dropper-it into their mouth, but probably just easier and less messy to add to their food bowl. Few other omega-3 oil offerings listed below for comparison purposes. Also reviewed some Electrolyte offerings by LivinGood Daily; they are an American Company.
Observations: Observations: There appears to be a trend developing recently, where a product will state: “manufactured for ABC” or “distributed by”; however, that does not say WHO made it, or WHERE it was made. Just because it is distributed by a US company, or tested by a US company, doesn’t mean it was not made in mexico, canada, china, etc. On the back of the package, it states: “Manufactured in a FDA & GMP Registered Facility in the USA”.
Recommendation: Had to do an internet search for what “DHA” is: Long-chain omega-3 fatty acids are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
Pros: Sourced from deep sea fish oil (anchovies and sardines); NORDIC NATURALS offers 175 products, and most have +4 star reviews.
Cons: Cost, as compared to similar offerings ($6.32/oz vs. $2-3/oz).
Conclusion: At $43 for 6.8oz ($6.32/oz), rating this 4-stars (cost).

I take fish oil for all of its health benefits. I was a little hesitant trying this liquid form since I’ve always taken my fish oil in pills. I was expecting it to taste fishy, but honestly it tasted fine to me and has a nice smooth orange citrus flavor. It does taste oily as oil should taste. The color looks the same as the inside of my fish oil pill. If you don’t like taking it straight up, I’m sure you could mix in your drink of choice. It tastes fine to me so I just take it by the spoonful. I haven’t experienced any negative side effects from it. This makes a great alternative when I want to skip my two, big fish oil pills for the day.

A great way to get your daily fatty acids! Personally, though, I think I prefer the capsule-form, as opposed to this liquid-form…
But, with that being said, I do think the liquid is actually more quickly absorbed and readily bioavailable…
Taste is a little funky, but not horrible. LOL. Also, this product seems to be a little pricey, in my opinion… a little more than 50 cents a pop…
Overall, 4.2 stars…

40 servings for a price that might be a little high for some people. But I think it’s worth it for the possible benefits. I have not used it long enough yet. But I will continue to do so. It does not have a bad taste IMO.
