This is my favorite baby wash! It smells so good and lathers so nicely. Used it for both my babies and never dried out their skin even when they were newborns. They always go to bed nice and easy after a warm lavender bath!

My son is 8 months and I’ve used a few different baby washes. This is my favorite. The ingredients are certified organic. It is sulfate free, and free of synthetic fragrance. When it came in the mail, I tested it by washing my hands with it. The smell is nice and is very calming! It also made my hands extremely soft. I love how the smell doesn’t linger on your skin afterwards. Some wash fragrances stick to your skin and it can be overpowering, especially for baby but this wash leaves a VERY light natural scent. highly recommend for baby.

Love this bath wash for my 2 year old boy! He gets all sorts of dirty in the sandbox, caked with sunscreen and food…this stuff does lather well and get him clean and leaves him soft and yummy smelling. I would not recommend for using on newborns as the bottle indicates. Essential oils are not safe on babies under 3 months (some oils are not safe until 6 months and some to a year – lavender is safe at 3 months). Do your research! Will get the unscented for my second due in a few short months. Thanks!

Really lathers a little goes a long ways

This is the second time I’ve purchased this shampoo/body wash for my littles. Plant based is very important to me for my kids’ sensitive skin, and this wash is wonderful. It lathers up great, doesn’t hurt their eyes, smells wonderful, and this bottle will last a while. The convenient pump is something I didn’t realize I had to have while bathing three children, but now I’d never buy soap for them without one.

**UPDATE** My daughter is two and a half now and still using this for her hair only. She has developed allergies to many soap products, including so-called ‘natural’ soaps, that dry her out and make her break out in a rash. She loves this, it cleans her hair and smells nice. I picked up the conditioner as well. I will keep using this on her hair until she is a little older, and hopefully grows out of her allergies.

I have not used this yet, but when it arrived the top was twisted so that it spilled into the package… oops! The lavender smell is very strong, but my daughter picked it up and sniffed it and went “mmmm” she likes the smell of it so far, since she is the one who will be using it.. I will let her go with it =) We have been using the Burt’s Bees wash for a long time (almost two years since birth) and it is great for her sensitive skin, but is starting to dry her out (I suppose they have less oils in their skin as they get older). So hopefully this wash will be less drying.

We have used “natural” “organic” products on my both my children most their lives. (They’re now 2 and 4). We went that route after discovering they eldest has sensitive skin (rash prone, extremely dry). My second was also born with the same sensitive skin. After trying just about everything, i know a thing or two about baby bath products. We finally found something that worked well, it was “calming” to my California babies, but oh so expensive. On an add-on whim, decided to try this. I am so glad we did. We love it.
First impression I love the scent of this product. It is not overly scented, has a mild/natural lavender scent. I tend to dislike strongly scented things (for reference- shea moisture or garnier products I will not use). I also love the lather. It is plenty bubbly enough for bubble bath, though I would love to try their bubble bath sometime. The bottle is big and lasts awhile. I appreciate the pump as well.
After a month or so, we aren’t even halfway through. I can’t say the same for our previous brand. The wash has not dried out their skin or caused any rashes. Perhaps it does help reverse the drying somewhat. I am not sure, as we do use other products sometimes. (Different brand lotion, conditioner and detangler). Using up what we have left and going to buy the lotion for sure and perhaps the conditioner.
Speaking of conditioner, we don’t use conditioner or detangler everyday. We use this also as a shampoo and I haven’t found it to be drying, so conditioner is not really needed. But my youngest has really long hair…and a rough and tumble kinda kid. So he often gets it tangled/knotted, thus the conditioner/detangler.
Anyway, I would highly recommend this product. We are so glad we gave it a try and will be purchasing again.

My son’s skin is super sensitive and this does not make it worse. He is able to soak a little without me thinking he is getting irritated. …at first I thought, “Will it be too strongly scented and will it be worth the price??” And no, it’s not too strong. It smells lovely, even for a boy. And the price is something that I’ll gladly continue to pay.

This baby wash smells wonderful. It gets soapy and bubbly and is gentle on my son’s skin. The scent is nice but isn’t overpowering. The only thing I don’t like is that it isn’t tear free. Other than that it is wonderful and I even use it myself! I love that it isn’t full of chemicals like some other baby products on the market.

Lavender smell is perfect. It’s about 80% the strength of most scented products so in my opinion it smells great but is dialed back a bit. For comparison, I did not at all like the Rainbow Baby Oh Baby scented wash which had an overwhelming sweet scent. I use this product as a bubble bath for toddler. Also for washing hair, and afterward use a TINY bit of conditioner to detangle toddler hair. As a bubble bath it is not crazy bubbly, which is good. As a hair wash, I dilute it first so it distributes evenly and I don’t need to use much.
