Purchased these for my little one because I didn’t feel quite comfortable, giving the small little candies, which could be a choking hazard. They do exactly what they’re supposed to and super happy with the ingredients as I always try to give the best I can find for my kiddo.

My 3 year olds think they are getting candy everytime they get sick. I remember in the 90’s we had these things called “get better bears” with grape flavored bear lollipops that are throat lozenges. These are the same thing but they taste amazing and they look like an actual lollipop, this was a genius idea.

Firstly, I appreciate any product that tries to be natural and healthy. That’s an automatic win in my book
My 3-year-old nephew can’t catch a break and seems to get sick every other month, and my 11-year-old niece has had a tough time herself lately too. So, I wanted to keep a box of these lollipops handy for when I visit them
But I’ll be honest, I can’t imagine any kid getting much enjoyment out of these lollipops (I know they are technically ‘medicine,’ so I’m really not trying to review these like they’re candy) By some of the other reviews, I think I was expecting something a little tastier. I didn’t want to give these suckers out without having tried them myself, so I had one even though I wasn’t sick at the time
Essentially, these are cough drops on a stick. A couple seconds after you put one in your mouth, you get that ‘cold’ cough drop sensation, if that makes sense. Again, these ARE medicated, so feeling like you’re eating a cough drop is perfectly reasonable and expected. They don’t taste very sweet at all. You can taste the honey at first, but the ‘cold’ ‘medicine’ sensation takes over your taste buds soon after, and you don’t get much taste of anything after that
Being an adult, and an adult who doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, I enjoy these just fine – BUT I would not be surprised if a kid, particularly a younger one, dislikes them – These really are just cough drops on sticks, which is actually great for younger kids since you pretty much eliminate the choking hazard this way. And I don’t doubt the effectiveness. I can tell these things are going to help a sore throat
To sum up, I really like the idea of these lollipops, and I know they will do what they promise to do, but I think it’s a coin toss on whether or not a young kid will tolerate the medicine-y sensation
I didn’t want to deduce a star from this review. I think this is a 5-star product. But I was a little confused/let down by the reviews claiming that these things are delicious after I tried one for myself
The amount you get for the price is a great deal in my opinion, and the expiration date is great too (Over a year and a half away) So, I say give them a try WITH the expectation that the kid you give these to MIGHT reject them
