You need about 2 mls of sunscreen on your face to get the claimed SPF coverage. That means there’s less than 15 uses in here, and this product is pretty oily so I doubt any one is applying anywhere near the required amount.
It is mineral sunscreen with too warm of a tint to fend off that white cast. It doesn’t work for my fair skin at all.
Make sure to shake it when using, otherwise the oil will have separated.
Much better and way more affordable options out there. Cant recommend.

Even though daily sunscreen is a must, I don’t always get around to using it. I thought perhaps this Lira Clinical ElioDrops might be a good way to get SPF coverage and bit of a glow to help me look more put together than normal. I’ve used this a few times, and I’m not convinced I’ll use it much beyond that.
For one, make sure you use this with the applicator tip pointed down, which is probably pretty intuitive to everyone but me. If you hold it with the tip pointed up, it’ll end up making a mess everywhere. I’m also not a fan of the orange “glow” but it probably works better with someone with a different skin tone. On my fair skin, it was a bit like a muted Cheeto color. My family couldn’t tell the difference, but I could and I didn’t care for it. On the bright side, it has a mattifying effect and could work as a good primer. And zinc oxide usually looks pasty on my skin and this one didn’t.

This is a light-weight, easy to apply sunscreen that seems most suitable for those who prefer to wear it under make-up. I am at home most of the time and don’t wear make-up on a daily basis anymore. I spend a lot of time outdoors and use a sunscreen with a higher SPF for everyday wear. But, this sunscreen will be great for some extra protection on those days when I have a long commute or I’m out and about and I’m wearing make-up and dressed less casually. This sunscreen is lightly tinted, so it can be worn solo, but I prefer to treat it more as a primer. The tint is a light ivory which seems to work well with my skin tone. There is no white cast or oily residue but the sunscreen does seem to somehow float over my skin rather than being completely absorbed. I don’t really like the look when worn solo as the coverage seems a bit splotchy. Maybe because I have very dry skin that tends to become dehydrated and rough very easily. Or maybe I’m just not very good at blending it. After applying, it does seem to even out over an hour or so. It does work perfectly for me when worn under make-up. I do think the sheer formula would work better for me than this glow version. The pictures in the product description show both the ‘glow’ and the ‘sheer’ versions of this sunscreen, which I didn’t realize at first. I will try the other version next time. As someone with sensitive skin, I would have liked to see the full list of ingredients before purchasing. Only a few key ingredients were highlighted in the description. The sunscreen arrived nicely packaged but neither the box nor the tube were sealed.

It feels good on my skin not greasy or heavy but has a strange smell which is probably the zinc. You do have to give it a good shake before use or you just get oil out of the bottle. I do like that its reef safe but it doesn’t say waterproof. I would use it daily for everyday use.

So first the good things.
This serum feels amazing. It’s tinted and very liquidy and glides on to my skin beautifully. It does have a bit of shimmer in it but I don’t notice it once it’s on my skin at all and I did not experience any white cast despite the main ingredient being zinc oxide. It has palm oil in it which I wasn’t sure if it’s good for your skin but it certainly felt nice going on and I did not experience any breakouts. I was truly flabbergasted, I had been on the search for a good sunscreen for so long and a lot of Asian ones are good enough but still feel like lotion. This one just felt incredible to me.
The quasi bad – you really have to make sure you’re putting a lot of this on in order to get SPF protection. I put it on like I would put on a normal serum and then I checked using a UV camera and I don’t think I put on enough. I then did a test Swatch on my hand, I used an SPF 50 + PA +++ that I use regularly on the left and globbed the serum on the right. It still dried wonderfully, but with the size of the tube and the amount you need to use you’d run through the tube extremely quickly. Because it is consistency it’s a very easy to spread around and very easy to get too thin of a layer. You really need to put on a thick layer to get protection. The serum wasn’t as dark on the UV camera as my normal sunscreen but it was pretty close.
I love this stuff, I wish they just made it in giant bottles!

Coming from a guy that’s not used to putting on makeup, this product seems like putting on makeup to me. Having said that, I don’t have any objections to how it feels going on. In fact, although it is most definitely a liquid coming out of the tube, it kind of feels like applying some kind of powder. It definitely does not feel oily to me at all.
I haven’t done any scientific studies on its effectiveness, but so far I haven’t come home with any sunburns after wearing this. I guess that’s good enough for me.

I really loved using this sunscreen, it was also great on my skin and left it feeling great. Like I was using a face lotion. Good gentle protection from the sun when I’m outside and there’s a lot of sun out.

This face sunscreen felt very fancy! I don’t think I’ve ever seen sunscreen with a glass tipped applicator like this one. It felt pretty smooth applying it, and I didn’t really notice much in terms of my skin shade changing where I applied it. After it’s applied, my skin feels pretty good, maybe slightly oily but not in a bad way. It rubbed in very easily and didn’t leave any streaks or white marks at all, which is always nice. They say to reapply every 2 hours in the sun, that’s pretty often, so I don’t think I’ll be using this for beach days, I’ll save it for occasions where I may be outside for shorter periods of time, and bring out the heavier sunscreen for days at the beach.
