Didn’t improve my tinnitus

First I want to state that my tinnitus was induced after two weeks of pretty constant AirPod Pro (version 2) use with active noise reduction “on” – I believe it was ANR that really set it off (there is a 43 page Apple Support Page on the subject). So after not using any sort of headphones for a few weeks and no real reduction, I was getting desperate. Called an ENT. Got my hearing checked. The whole 9 yards.
While waiting between for the appointments, I wanted get ahead of it and a coworker mentioned they had tinnitus as a result of really loud music that plays in his gym and his ENT recommended Lipo Flavanoid. I’m generally a big fan of alternative medicines, herbal remedies, etc. I think Eastern medicine is untapped in the West – so I decided to give it a shot.
Since I wasn’t sleeping well, I bought this combo pack with melatonin. Several packs actually, since I wanted to try it for 60 days. I was a bit skeptical when I read I needed to take 6 capsules a day for 60 days. I would think, if this works, I should start to see results within a week or two. Based on my past experiences, whenever I’ve researched herbal remedies in the past, they generally work within a few days, not weeks. So I had low expectations.
I can say now that I’m 60 days in, this met my low expectations and did not work for me. There seems to be a fair amount of users this does work for. I mentioned this to my ENT on my two month follow up (after a course of steroids, a second hearing test and an MRI to check for tumors – all good there) and he said he has not heard too many positive anecdotes from his patients who used it either.
I’m giving it two stars for the following reason: if this works for you great, or (more likely) it is working for you via a placebo effect and, again, great. The power of the mind over the body is amazing and if that works, it works. I’m not against the placebo effect in anyway, but that’s all it likely is.

I have had tinnitus since December 2018. I’ve tried everything to modulate or lessen the ringing in my ears particularly at night. Nothing worked and, of course, the doctors had nothing, but sympathy and recommendations to seek counseling. I cannot count the number of sleepless nights due to the ringing and the anxiety I felt every night as bedtime approached. I was further stressed that, due to insomnia, I was shortening my life. Then, I discovered this product and its availability on Amazon. Quite literally, it has saved my life. While it has not cured the problem, my ringing is stabilized. It is now just white noise with none of the fluctuations in type and volume of ringing. I can now sleep and wake up rested. While it may not work for everyone (as the product information advises), anyone who has tinnitus knows that user recommendations for various treatment regimens is so important. Let me say again: if everything you’ve done has failed thus far, give this product a chance. You may be wonderfully surprised. I know I was!

I bought these on recommendation of my ENT. He said “some” of his patients had success with them. I was suicidal at that point so I was willing to try anything. Now, 2.5 months later the noise is still there, but it’s much quieter. I bought the regular dosage at 2pills, 3xs a day. I was religious about taking them. For the 1st month they did nothing. Kept it up. At the end of 2 months it was much better. Now I’ve got these, 2 pills a day and 1 at night. The noise is still there but I do have days of silence, which are magical. Who’d have ever thought, it’s true, silence is golden. But, for the most part much quieter is fantastic. I can live with this. I had it all planned out, down to the last detail, how I was going to stop it. Quite happy it didn’t come to that. So, they may not work for you, but they did for me. Good luck. I know how you feel.
