I’m trying this Ness enzyme formula 5 Lipase to assist with digestion of fats on higher fat based diets. As a nutritionist, I trust this company. They provide high quality enzymes without added toxic substances.

For all the promise of plant-based enzyme supplementation, this product is horrible. The packaging does not have any listing of its effectiveness rating (e.g. FCC rating), and the manufacturing company adopts a secretive policy in this regard. I reached out to the company sales contact, and was informed that they have an arbitrary policy of not disclosing this data. The company representative told me that they only release information about the potentcies of their “professional lines” (NESS, ProSol, and Advanced Formula) to licensed health care practitioners that “qualify for the products.” The contacts I was given by the company representative were some chiropractor in LA and another random health care practitioner in the San Diego region that charged exorbitant fees, was not a medical doctor, and did not accept any form of insurance because she does not want to ‘deal with the paperwork’. This company does business very, very badly, and can’t possibly have any realistic expectations of legit MDs embracing their product line. According to the company rep, it can be inferred that it should not be possible to buy this product online, yet here it is on Amazon and all over the web.
They treat this over-the-counter supplement like a medicine, and even then, there is no example of a single enzyme product (prescription or otherwise) that does not release the potency rating. Given the bizarrely strict policy they seem to have on publishing information to the public about this SUPPLEMENT, I asked if the company intends submit this enzyme line for clinical trials to obtain FDA approval for prescription enzymes. The sales rep informed me that there are no plans for doing this.
Given the track record of variable consistency in the previously unregulated enzyme market, I think it’s only fair to conclude this product is a sham. It has not worked for the people I purchased it for, and products refuse to submit this to product clinical trial. Oh yes, I asked if they’ve conducted clinical trials to This is a horrible precedence established by the company. Why would any legitimate company choose to adopt such a policy? Are they not comfortable enough with the product to be willing to stand behind it? At any rate, this product did not seem to work for us and one would be hard pressed to simply trust the

This product is great and I am happy that it is easy to swallow and relatively inexpensive. Also, while the supplier does not deliver via “prime” I have often received the product with two days (as if it were prime.) The one time the product was lost/delayed, likely because of COVID backups, the supplier was quick to send a replacement that was received very quickly. I recommend both the product and the supplier.

Since I have no gallbladder, I needed something to help digest the oils and fats that I consume. It far better than taking drugs…and it works for me.

I am on probably my 20th bottle of this enzyme! I carry it with me wherever I go and take it whenever I eat fatty foods and in between meals. Its a live saver. I’ve been going through some serious digestive issues for the last 6 years and feel lousy (worse than lousy some days)if I don’t take my enzymes. My body is super, super sensitive to most kinds of supplements but Ness and Enzymedica work well for me, in fact are life savers. I’ve tried almost every enzyme product out there over the years and have narrowed the best ones down to Ness and Enzymedica. Most of the others make me feel worse but these 2 brands do the trick.

Ness Enzymes work better than any other enzymes I have tried and I have tried many. I like that you can target enzymes that are for fat absorption (lipase), others for starch, sugar,, protein, etc.

I wanted this to work for the health of my arteries. From the first dose I had heartburn that wouldn’t go away until I stopped taking them 5 days later. I’m so bummed but just be aware it could happen to you too.

This is an Excellent product at an even Better Price… which is highly unusual… I owned Wellness Clinics for over 20 years and I would not have hesitated to recommend this product to my clients along with my friends and family members… and one family member is on it now because of me and has received substantially positive benefits from it ending a devastating bout with Systemic Candidiasis when combined with Protease… as have I!
I have also used this product along with the Protease to eliminate the fat in the blood stream and I have noticed since I have been doing this on a regular basis… now that the Candidiasis is gone… I have begun to lose weight!
I cannot recommend this product highly enough… please see my comment under the one star review for further information.
