I seem to have developed an allergy to vaseline and lanolin containing products. Every time I use a product with those ingredients on my lips they start to burn and peel. Glad I found this lip balm, it keeps my lips soft and hydrated with no allergic reaction.

Smells good and does the job. I love tallow lip balm but sometimes you need that wax to keep it on. This one has good coating. I tried this on a whim. Good price too.
Amazon Customer –
EDIT: updated this to 5 stars now. I’ve bought another tube even though I’ve not run out of the other tube yet! ( cheaper now at £7 something so happy days) I’ve found myself consistently reaching for this lip balm over my other balm that I’ve used for the last few years (which is a good quality balm but Amazon are struggling to fulfill my monthly subscription needs on time) Lips are more moisturised – and there’s no drying effect feeling making you want to apply more like many balms you find ( because they’re just a layer on your lips not actually sinking in and providing relief etc) I’m actually probably using it less during the day/night because it’s so moisturising! Unless you’re eating or drinking, it has great staying power.
It’s shame I can’t put it on subscription because I’ll be using this as my desert island balm now.
Absolutely love this lip balm. I’m incredibly allergic to a lot of ingredients – fragrances types, chemical and natural. One of my big reactors is beeswax, which is in so many lip balms. This was a good unscented find and it doesn’t dry my lips out in any way and leaves a nice moisturising film on my lips. The recyclable packaging is good, though takes a bit of getting used to if you’re not familiar with it – I wasn’t, regarding lip balm. I found tubes would separate quite easily although again, I got used to holding it so it stayed in one piece on opening/pulling off the lid. Not cheap at £9 something a shot, particularly as I’m a very heavy user of lip balms and a considered purchase in that sense. At first I thought I wouldn’t order it again but 10 days in, I’m changing my mind. I’m probably applying regularly out of habit rather than need now as my lips are nicely moisturised and don’t feel dry. I have super sensitive lips and due to past traumas I can’t bare being without lip balm. I’d rather have that than anything else on my face. It’s a family joke that lip balm would be my desert island luxury ( if you’re old enough to have known or listened to desert island discs on radio 4!)
The drop from an outstanding 5 stars, to 4 stars is that I’ve been using this balm for 10 days now and I’m half way through the tube. I’d probably need two a month to be on the safe side as running out of balm is not an option for me! Nearly £20 per month is a considered cost, but it’s one I shall probably give in to and accept. Because dry sore lips is my nemesis and I think this is worth it.
I’ll update this review at the end of the tube and let you know if I definitely order it again. Or I change the star rating!

I am a convert. I will not buy a plastic tube again. Bought the mint scent, and it’s great! Slightly larger tube than lip balm than I’m used to, in order to have room for your finger to advance the tube, but that just means more grams of balm, so it’ll last longer. Great product. Thank you!

This one applies really well. Got the watermelon and love it. Love the generously filled cardboard tube too. No more plastic lip balms for me!

I bought this to use as nipple balm because I didn’t want to have to touch the oily balms to apply them and liked the ingredients, plastic-free tube, and lack of fragrance in this one. The ingredients are the same as some nipple creams and I did double check they’re safe, but don’t take my word for it if you want to do this as well. I also use it less often as chapstick and it’s great for that too. Only downside is that it was very difficult to start to push up.

At first I thought, no. I have smallish lips and don’t like large width lip products. Well, I’m over it, bc I LOVE this lip balm, cannot be without it! At first, you might think it’s awkward, the cardboard style, pushing it up with your finger, etc. It quickly becomes easy as pie and worth it for the feel of the product! If you’re frustrated with the top that comes on and off too easily, just wipe a little of the balm on the top of the container and the lid will be secure, no problem. When it gets near the end of the product (it lasts a good long while!), you might have to use your little finger to carefully push more up, but it’s no big deal. And again, sooo worth the quality of this delightful balm. I keep one in my purse, one by my bed and several other places throughout the house! PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THIS WONDERFUL LIP BALM!!!

I absolutely love that this arrived in a plastic-free container! It’s like a push-pop where you have to press from the bottom to ‘feed’ it up to the top to use it, but you can easily use your lip to push it back down when done applying it. Goes on smoothly. Smells nice. Lasts for quite a while for me. I’m very happy!

I love the paper packaging! The lip balm is OK. Unscented is neutral, as I wanted. But I like to keep a lip balm on my car, and this does not handles heat well. Too soft. I prefer Poppy & Pout, also in paper packaging

I like the product itself. The lip balm smooths nicely onto your lips. The flavor and smell are nice and not overpowering. I like that I have a product that is EWG verified as I’ve been trying to cut down on the toxic products that I put on my skin and in my hair on a daily basis. The recyclable packaging/tube is just a bonus to me. That being said…
The tube could definitely use some tweeking. The tube cap struggles to stay on so this is not a lip balm I could comfortably drop in my purse pocket like I would normally do for fear that it will end up all over the inside of my bag. I would need to put it in some sort of baggie to ensure that it is separated from anything else. It is also similar in style to the classic push pop ices and the only way to keep the product inside from remaining “peaked” over the top is by pushing the product itself down with your lips or your finger…which is not easy to do. I personally prefer some sort of mechanism like the unfortunate plastic ones have that make it easier to move the lip balm up and down within its tubing. It just simply makes things easier. I can also see the tubing breaking down over time with use and becoming more unstable in your hands.
