I’ve tried many Nitric Oxide boosters before, even powdered ones from BulkSuppliments, but none individually packaged and flavored before.
When I first opened the pack I was greeted with the usual odd/chemical smell that accompanies most supplements of this nature.
After thoroughly mixing it with exactly 10oz of cool, filtered water, it looks nearly indistinguishable from reconstituted concentrated orange juice.
I took a sip, and while not bad, it has sort of a fizzy, orange cool-aid like flavor, somewhat like Tang.
After the taste test, I just chugged the small glass and waited to feel the effects.
it’s been about 45-55 minutes since consumption, and I’m starting to feel the effects of the N.O.
As I type this I can see the veins in my hands becoming more prominent which means it should be taking effect.
At about 6 bucks for 5 individually wrapped servings I’d say it not a bad deal, but I would prefer it if it came in a larger bulk size.
I mean if this is just a sampler, that’s cool, but if you’re looking to bring something with you to the gym and you go more than 5 times a week, you’re going to have to stock up on this, or go with something in a larger size.

This L-Arginine supplement provides a slight energy boost during workouts. The orange flavor is okay, but a bit chalky and can be difficult to mix. The price is great for the amount you get sent. Overall, it’s decent, but I might try a different flavor or brand.

The packaging is eye-catching, but similar to their last product, you only get 5 servings, which feels a bit like a tease. Its supposed to be a high-potency booster for nitric oxide, but the short supply might leave you wanting more. If you’re looking for a quick flavor boost in your health routine, this could be fun to try. Fun Fact: Life’s Fortune was one of the first companies to introduce flavored amino acid powders, aiming to make health supplements more enjoyable to consume.

Inflammation is a problem with a wide range of causes that affects thousands upon thousands of people across the nation. All too often, it is something stupefyingly simple such as the well known deficiency of potassium and magnesium in the western diet. The inflammation could be caused by genetic variances such that a deficient intake of folic acid becomes a problem. Homocysteine, the result of that deficiency, interferes with the function of nitric acid in the vascular endothelium and, from there, all manner of things can happen; from weak erections to a blood pressure that is higher than one would like. One way to address all of that is to consume sufficient arginine and citrulline that the production of nitric oxide in the body is increased and I have NEVER tasted a more delicious way of consuming Arginine AND citrulline. While I am disappointed in the quantity of citrulline, Cardio Health from Life’s Fortune IS absolutely delicious and I am not exaggerating! The instructions say to mix the contents of one pouch with 10 oz of water but I mixed it in 20 oz and in 32 oz and the flavor was wonderful and that is not only something unexpected, it is something that had to have been difficult to achieve in something so nutrient dense.
In one serving, you will find, 200mg vitamin C, 83mcg of vitamin D, 10mg vitamin E, 3mg of thiamine, 3mg of riboflavin, 10 mg of niacin, 10mg of B-6, 682 mg DFE of folic acid, 500mcg B-12, 10mg pantothenic acid, 230mg of magnesium, 100mcg of selenium, 200mcg of chromium, and 50mg of sodium. Most importantly, 5 grams of arginine, 1 gram of citrulline and an assortment of other things such as tart cherry and astragalus that are believed to have anti inflammatory properties. I was happy to see that some CoQ10 was included in the ingredients. This is not a comprehensive list of the proprietary blend, just some things that I felt were salient. In any case, something this nutrient dense is also a good value because one can drink it with a meal and add to the nutritional value of the meal.
I was disappointed with the amount of citrulline, however, given the flavor and the nutritional value, I could easily have one of these a day and I would probably find myself having two! I do not think it would be a good idea to consume more than recommended but the flavor is very refreshing. The flavor is something more like tangerine than orange, a bit more tart than Sunny Delight, just enough that it is pleasantly flavored. If one could have an orange Jolly Rancher, the flavor of Cardio Health is what I hope the flavor of an orange Jolly Rancher would be.
All of that is important because arginine tastes like chalk to me and citrulline is something I can normally consume only when it is in capsules and yet, Cardio Health is delicious! I am going to mix one of the pouches with San Pellegrino water and pour it over some crushed ice!
