These CoQ10 caplets, at 200mg, are quite lower priced than other supplements of the same value.
The one thing that the more expensive supplements do is use the Kaneka process for the production of the supplement — this is pretty much the industry standard for the production of these and you can find the facilities that use that (more than a few in the US). These don’t use that particular process, although they do claim to be “formulated in the USA” and manufactured at a “FDA registered facility” — whatever that means.
So you don’t actually know where this stuff is made, what quality control they use, or what you’re actually getting in the pill.

This review is for Life Caps CoQ10 200 mg.
CoQ10 is an important nutrient that, as you get older, is needed more and more especially if you have to those that take certain pharmaceuticals. It’s especially needed for cardiovascular health, for cognitive support, for energy and it is a really good antioxidant.
After digging deeper into information about this CoQ10 by Life Caps I realize this was a bad choice. I don’t know if I can even say anything good about it except for the cost which is quite good! The capsules are on the smallish side. Dosage information suggest 2 capsules a day which equals 200 mg. It should specify to take this with a meal containing fat for best absorption. Most CoQ10 supplements will include a fat like MCT oil.
When you go to the store on this site there is only 1 item from Life Caps and that is this CoQ10. and absolutely no information about the company or brand and nothing about the product itself, just the couple paragraphs on the product page description.
On the label there are some badges: “manufactured in an FDA registered facility, GMP(can’t read the rest) and FORMULATED in the USA, 100% Hassle Free Returns. There is a “manufactured for: LifeCaps” at a FLorida address on the label as well. The most important badge is missing and that is the 3rd Party Lab tested badge. That tells me that what is in this bottle is really what the label says.
On the product page here, you will see “Proudly USA” (what does that mean?)

Just all around disappointing! I wish I could recommend but not until I know more about the quality of this supplement.

LifeCaps CoQ10 200mg is a good supplement of CoQ10. It is recommended for a few different health reasons in men and women, specifically heart health and energy gains. The recommended dose is 2 capsules (100mg each) per day, the bottle provides enough for 30 days if taking the recommended dosage.
The bottle has 2 security seals, one outer plastic seal and one inner foil seal. I appreciate the effort involved in keeping the product secure and fresh as this makes a difference. The capsules are small enough to comfortably swallow.
I’ve been taking this for a short time and only 1 capsule a day to see if I noticed any benefits before reporting back. I noticed I do not feel as tired throughout the day, but not sure if any of the other “benefits” of this product are working. For what its worth, it is a good health supplement energy boosts, and if that is the biggest benefit I receive, I am impressed. No side effects at this time, but will continue taking to see if anything changes and will report back.

Often CoQ10 seems to be formulated with other ingredients. This is just the CoQ10, which is nice to be able to dose easily. I find it is easy to swallow. It works as I expect it to and is a good addition to my supplement regimine.
