Just an FYI – I wasn’t paid to write this review, nor was I given this product for free OR at a discounted price. This review is completely honest and unbiased and it comes from my heart… yes, my heart, because it has changed my life! I’ve said it once and I will say it again, this is, hands down, the BEST multivitamin available. I have tried MANY others, and nobody else even comes close. I originally got some from a family member who was impressed with how the vitamins made her feel. I started taking them, and while I was repulsed by the taste and smell (my One-A-Day Teen vitamins didn’t taste bad, probably because they weren’t natural or potent), I took them faithfully to appease said family member. Well, after a couple of weeks, I noticed that my nails weren’t breaking, which was odd, because I’ve always had flimsy nails that couldn’t grow long because they would break. I also noticed my hair was growing faster… ALL of my hair, which means my legs, underarms, and eyebrows needed extra attention. But it also means that I was growing hair that was both long AND strong. I had to cut my hair shoulder length because of all the damage that I had inflicted on it with various heat tools, but now I can proudly say that my hair reaches all the way down to my lower back! So I’ve included two pictures. In the first one, if you look close, you can see my nails… they are SO long! They might not be as long as some people are able to grow this, but for me… I’ve never had that before. And in the second picture, you can see how long my hair has gotten. My eyebrows and lashes are so thick and full and it also helps my skin. I know that “outer beauty” isn’t what matters, but I think these are all indicators of my health. Nutritional deficiency can cause all sorts of problems, I have insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, and depression/anxiety, but this supplement to my diet has SO drastically improved the way I feel. I am definitely a “lifer” with this product. I have been taking it for over a year now, and have gone through 3 bottles (I don’t always take two per day), and this is the first time I’ve had the chance to leave this review. I know for a lot of us, finances can be difficult, so if you can only afford one supplement for your health, I strongly urge you to pick this one. It is the most complete multivitamin you can get for your money, and the ingredients it contains are extremely high quality and potent. You just won’t get these results with a “One-A-Day” product. This stuff is the real deal! Love it!

I’ve always taken a multi vitamin. I cannot afford the Life Extension 9 per day product, but next to that, this is the best multi on the market.
It covers all the basics and adds some extras that most major multi’s are lacking, like 125 mgs of (expensive!) Alpha Lipoic Acid that is so good for aging skin, iodine, and a medically significant dose of Vitamin D. It’s very high in B vitamins, obviating the need for additional B-complex, and has a good mix of different kinds of vitamin C.
It cannot be be beat for the price, and I trust the Life Extension foundation’s quality. They don’t use questionable ingredients from cheap sources. They research all of their ingredients and deliver a product that I’m confident is of excellent quality.
I only take vitamins 5 days per week. It’s unclear whether taking them daily for year and years without a break is a good idea. One of these bottles lasts well over two months, so it’s only $8 per month or less, which is a fantastic bargain.
It’s fabulous that the LEF came out with a product that is affordable and high quality for those of us who cannot obtain their more famous multi-vitamin formula. This is the multi I recommend to all of my family and friends. For the price, it really can’t be beat!
Oh! And I strongly prefer the capsules over the tablets, not just in this vitamin but in all vitamins, because capsules are much easier to breakdown and then absorb in the stomach. Also, my husband hated the size and smell of the tablets, which were much larger than the capsules. The capsules don’t have the strong off-putting vitamin smell. But they also cost a tiny bit more than the tablets.

I would give this multi 10 stars if I could. It’s similar to doctor-prescribed Thorne brand, but at a much more reasonable price. It contains the bio-available forms of B vitamins, for example (1) the methylcobalamin form of B12, rather than cyanocobalamin, and (2) actual folate instead of poorly-absorbed ‘folic acid’. The bio-available forms don’t require your liver to perform enzymatic chemical reactions in order for your body to use them. This is great because we all differ genetically w/ regard to our liver enzyme activity. Our enzyme activity also decreases with age. Doses of B vitamins in this multi are high (not uncommon), but there is no established upper limit (UL) on many B vitamins because they are water-soluble, meaning, the excess is flushed out rather than stored. That’s why I take each of the recommended 2 capsules separately, at different times of the day. This multi also contains K2 (different from K1, the clotting vitamin) which isn’t found in most multivitamins. K2 is a calcium transporter, which means it moves excess calcium out of your blood and soft tissues, such as your blood vessels, corneas etc., and into your bones & teeth where it belongs. Search online with the words “k2 aids cardiac health and bone health” and you’ll see what I mean.) This multivitamin/multimineral has been independently tested by Consumer Lab to contain what it claims. Life Extension products consistently test well, and are also recommended by doctors. (No, I don’t work for Life Extension, but maybe I should!) 🙂
