Supplements help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food, and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to get to know the company and product better, to help you determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.
I love flip-top lids on supplement bottles!
This bottle comes about half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. If used as directed it will last two months. I’d prefer they put in more capsules and/or use a smaller bottle.
The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not putting it on the bottom!) is Apr 2026, so a little more than 1.5 years from now.
They have a very light scent and taste, and are easy to swallow with water.
I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says non-GMO. The product page also says manufactured in the USA.
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the bottle. The product page says they have been operating for over 40 years. Their lifeextension site is functional and informative, and they have been rated the #1 catalog/internet merchant among supplement users multiple times by ConsumerLab. They offer a certificate of analysis for all of their products upon request. They also have a number on their site that you can call to get a free wellness consultation, and another number for customer service.
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I have used their supplements off and on for years and always had good experiences with them. I like the ingredients here, except for the fillers that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to. For the price, and from an established company, I think it’s a good deal.

I have been using Life Extension products for a handful of years now and I am always pleased. Their ingredients and formulations are always carefully thought out and formulated based on scientific literature to back up the design rationales. This optimized resveratrol is no exception! It is paired with bio-quercetin phytosome for a synergistic effect. It is formulated to be more bioavailable, due to resveratrol’s normally poor oral bioavailability. Definitely pleased with this supplement!

fillers are gum arabic and rice bran extract and I am allergic to these fillers. Also bought the brand Simple-Organic which has been proven to not contain the stated ingredients. Might be better not to buy vitamins on Amazon since an unopened bottle cannot be returned!
