I have used Lestoil for years to treat stains on clothing before putting them in washing machine, and it removes the stains better than anything I have ever tried. I highly recommend it. The only negative is I have not been able to find Lestoil in local stores, so I have to order it online. But it’s well worth it.

My husband sent his brand-new, white dress shirt through the washer AND dryer with a piece of blue gum in the pocket. After scouring the Internet for ways to get gum out of clothing and trying several unsuccessfully, I ordered Lestoil in hopes of salvaging the shirt (I’ll admit I wasn’t too terribly hopeful, and went ahead and bought another shirt 😳). I applied the Lestoil to the inside of the pocket, waited a minute, and started picking the gum off. IT CAME OFF SO EASILY!! I ran it through a wash and dry cycle as usual, and the gum and blue coloring are completely gone. My husband can’t even tell the difference between the ruined shirt and the replacement shirt.
After such success, I decided to try it on my favorite hoodie that had a grease stain on the front. I’ve washed it numerous times with many treatments, trying to get that stain out. Then I hung it in my closet, hoping it would magically disappear on its own (it did not). Scrubbed it with a little Lestoil and a laundry brush, washed and air-dried. Gone!! I’m looking forward to using this on all those clothes I thought would never be recovered (in a family of 9 and with a husband that loves to grill there are a lot of them). My mom used, I use it, my sons will use it. The best by far – mostly removes grass stains on sports uniforms and takes grease/oil stains out of clothing. May take two times but it works. The smell is nostalgic to me and doesn’t bother me. I swear by this product and do not understand why it’s not sold in local stores. I’m a lifer.

This was the cleaning product that we use throughout my childhood. It has a distinct scent and works very well. It is taken out oil stains in my cotton T-shirts. It also works amazing at removing soap scum from bathtubs. Really the possibilities are endless. It’s really a shame that we don’t see more of this product in grocery stores. I love it!
