OMG! As a weight loss surgery patient I eat a lot of protein bars and snacks. These were such a delightful surprise. They do not have that “protein powder” taste. In fact, they are just a soft, delicious cookie that happens to be packing 16 grams of protein! Order these! True treat!

Recently, I just began working out again. I’ve been working out pretty hard and I’ve been noticing after my workouts I was purchasing these at the drugstore. I finally realized I can go on Amazon and buy these in bulk. I got 12 of these at a great price point. They are delicious, packed with protein, and really help my recovery exactly after I work out. The size is big enough to sustain me until I get home and have a protein shake. They have a great texture, and are well packaged. My only gripe is there’s a little too much sugar in them, but it helps to bring blood sugar up as soon as I get done with cardio. I will be reordering soon!

First off , these have a good amount of carbs — not a good keto or low carb choice.
The large cookies are 2 servings — close to 440 cals. Not a good choice for weight loss
Due to the high amount of sugar, I think this cookie probably fits post workout recovery for people trying to gain or maintain weight – I would not recommend for weight loss. May be ok for a 40:30:30 diets (28g sugar, 14g fat 16g protein) makes this a 37:41:21
As far as flavors go —
You can’t go wrong with these flavors:
Chocolate mint – probably the best tasting / sweetest
Snickerdoodle is great too – but note a bit messy due to sugar coating
Oatmeal – this one actually isn’t too bad and pretty close to what I expect in oatmeal flavor, not too sweet though.
Interesting try:
The Chocolate donut is an interesting taste close to the double chocolate but does have a little something extra to make it taste a little closer to a donut — but not as close as the Quest donut bar taste.
The Regular chocolate chip is ok but doesn’tt have enough or large enough chocolate chips to really get the flavor right.
Birthday cake and the salted caramel, also, all you really get is a general “sweetish dense bread taste” and it really doesn’t deliver on the “cookie taste” like the others nor do you really get anything extra from the chips / sprinkles.
Double chocolate is suprising just “ok” — It is not as sweet as the mint, and really sort of bland. There is a mild chocolate flavor that’s not too sweet similar to asian/japanese chocolate cakes.

I order these cookies once a month. I love the cookies, they taste is great, and the protein is nice. Usually these are fresh but lately I’ve been receiving stale boxes of cookies. They are before the Use By date, but still stale. I’m not sure if certain boxes are being stored in less than ideal conditions causing the problem, but if it keeps happening, I’ll have to cancel.

The white chocolate macadamia nut cookie is the only protein cookie or sweet snack I’ve tried that actually tastes good. Taste is awesome, protein content is great, and these fill you up!
However I’ve now tested this on numerous occasions and with multiple family members and friends to verify with me. These cookies will give you crazy flatulence! Almost comical.

This cookie is a staple in my breakfast routine because of the protein and fiber content. I have ordered these from Lennyandlarry.com and for some reason I’ve gotten a bad batch the two times I ordered with them. They were dry and stale. But EVERY TIME I GET THEM FROM AMAZON THEY ARE SOFT AND CHEWY. Will order these only from Amazon going forward. Thank you so much for having the freshest cookies!

This is the first box of Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cookies I have tried. The chocolate chip cookie is very good These cookies are baked soft, just the way I like all cookies. They are high in protein, 16 grams and low in sugar and carbs.
I had been buying Quest Complete high protein cookies, similar in protein, sugar and carb makeup to Lenny and Larry’s cookies. They are also very good, perhaps even better tasting, but Amazon does not stock many varieties where with the Lenny and Larry’s, many more flavors are offered. Also, I have no medical proof, but the Quest product made me feel gassy. Each peanut butter Quest cookie weighs 2.04 ounces, while the Lenny and Larry’s chocolate chip cookie weighs 4 ounces, both of them being in the same price range.
