There is nothing to dislike about this stuff! I have suffered from constipation every day for months. I was taking a gentle laxative that worked okay, but wanted to get away from laxatives. I found this the other day on Amazon, and received it yesterday. I was constipated when I took 2 capsules, and the next morning, early, I was up going to the bathroom with no cramping or pain whatsoever. Such a relief! I was a bit surprised at how large the capsules are, but they are no problem whatsoever to swallow. I can taste it a bit in the back of my throat when swallowing, but it’s a pleasant taste. Reminds me of black licorice. I am SO happy I found these!! Thank you!!

My bowel issues came as I got to my older years . Like so many women, I tried product after product usually natural or herbal based (preferred) that would work for a little while, or some so devastating to my system I had to stop. Years of spending money, some very expensive, but also didn’t supply what they promised. Finally, DigestLive appeared on the Amazon lineup. The ingredients sounded sensible for me and I decided to take a chance. Yes it took about 2 days to get into my system, but then it’s been a wonder solution for me. If I eat too much starchy or sweet food it can slow things down a bit. Mostly its important to eat a balanced diet with some veggies and/or fruit at one meal. Then things go very smoothly. No pain, no cramps, very comfortable. For me, one capsule every afternoon usually is my protocol. On occasion, I need two. I highly recommend giving this a try. I hope they keep making and selling this great solution.

This is marketed towards women but it literally has the same effects/benefits for male or female and is just one of those products the company decided to target women with, which is always laughable to me. All the herbs in this have the same effect on either sex and are not hormone regulating or anything like that. Here’s a clear breakdown of the ingredients because they decided to use the less common names of each herb on the label so this appears to be different than your standard herbal laxative or “cleanse” product but it’s actually not:
Foeniculum Vulgare is fennel, used as a carminative, digestive, lactogogue, and diuretic, and for soothing gastrointestinal disorders.
Cassia Augustifolia is senna, a stimulant laxative.
Rhamnus Purshiana is cascara, a stimulant laxative.
Aloe Ferox is another stimulant laxative.
Silybum Marianum is milk thistle, a liver cleansing herb.
Rhamnus Frangula is a type of buckthorn which has laxative and purgative properties.
That’s all the herbs in this, four laxatives and two tonifying, cleansing/soothing herbs.
The only filler is microcrystalline cellulose.
You get one glass bottle of 60 capsules and a travel blister pack of 14 capsules/7 doses which is really handy but I’m not sure if the company will continue throwing in the travel pack or if it’s just a temporary promotional thing.
Because this product relies on stimulant laxatives (which just mean herbal compounds that irritate or “stimulate” your intestinal lining causing a bowel movement, not a stimulant like caffeine), this will cause cramping and pain if you take too many at once.

A little back story so you can decide if these are right for you…i have had digestive issues for around 7 years or so, (right around having a second kid). They have gotten worse over time. Constipation has become one of my biggest issues…. and when I switched to decaf I basically cut out the last thing that helped keep me daily. People love to suggest that I eat more veggies or drink more water but i can assure you nothing of the food kind works for me. And any kind of “added fiber” just gives me horrific gas and bloating…. and thats it. Recently my metabolism basically stopped working as I knew it, and along with that I felt like I essentially just stopped poo-ing altogether. Like, days and days would go by. It’s the most awful thing. Stool softeners take way too long and are far to gentle to help me. I read the reviews for this and decided to try it. DO IT. For the last several days I have taken one each morning. And it works by afternoon. Completely natural feeling- nothing urgent or uncomfortable. Just like I’m a normal person. I can’t even believe it. Nothing but hardcore synthetic laxatives has been helping me! I’m hooked on this. I usually only write reviews when I don’t like stuff (I don’t know why), but i had to write this to help anyone out who might be suffering like me. Thank you to the people who made this…. !!!!
