I had a c section 3 weeks ago. I purchased these patches abt two weeks ago and abt a week and a half ago they came in. I used one patch and it worked very well that day and the day after. Definitely felt relief and the cooling sensation rly worked. Taking the patches off was SOOOOO BAD I thought I was going to be seeing stars. Totally pulled at my skin so bad it felt like someone was ripping my skin off!!! On top of that, they caused me incision to become super red, super irritated, and burn like no tomorrow!! My doctor put me on antibiotics and i’ve been doing better since but this all happened after taking off these patches. Don’t do it to yourselves ladies, just use soap and water to clean wound daily and let the wound breathe. Not worth the risk, trust me!!

I put mine in the fridge and it was really nice having that cooling feeling on my incision. Unfortunately my incision is a little bit longer than the pad so I did not apply it all of the way. I’m sure they would be great if my incision wasn’t as long. I really like the packaging and I think they are thin enough to not be in the way but also have a nice cushion to protect from clothes and such.

I only used one of these since my doctor wanted me to keep my cut open, however when I did use the pad it was very secure and comfortable. It did keep clothing from rubbing against the area

This was great to have for after my csection. I was wearing an abdominal binder for a few weeks post op and this was much better than the dressing from the hospital. It protected the site and kept it clean and dry to facilitate healing. It’s waterproof & stays on 72 hrs at a time which meant less fussing on my dressing post shower. It’s thin enough on the edges to be comfortable but with a thick enough portion on the actual incision site to provide protection. If you like to wear jeans, this will be great. Removal was easy and painless, it doesn’t stick to hair so you don’t have to worry about accidentally waxing yourself especially in “sensitive areas“. I’m assuming this would also work for other surgical sites, as well. Not sure if it will minimize scarring as I’ve only used it for about a week so far. Wish there were more in the box.

This was great for the first few times wearing regular jeans. It kept it comfortable and I was so happy to ditch the maternity pants! I wasn’t however impressed with removing the pad, the adhesive was good, it didn’t move around on me or fall off. This made removal a delicate operation, along with the numbness around my incision site it was not pleasant but it wasn’t painful either. I would use again to help keep me comfortable in recovery if I had an event I wanted to attend or travel but probably not just for every day around the house. It did make me confident that my clothing wasn’t going to tug on the incision when out and about and that resolved alot of anxiety and gave me confidence.

I had an unplanned c-section and started using these the day after my sutures were removed. My scar looks amazing and I have no sensory issues on my scar which I attribute to using these. Some reviews reported difficulty removing. I opted to remove mine in the shower with water running over the adhesive and no issues. They are pricey but worth the cost in my opinion.

First time C-section Momma here! These pads were so calming to me. I got my stitches out but still was so nervous about anything rubbing against the area and it was still very sore to the touch. The pads gave me relief from that. I put them in the fridge to cool and after applying to my incision site, they held a nice soothing temp for a good 20mins. Once it was time to remove them they came off with ease leaving no sticky residue. I’d definitely use these again!
