This is a really nice & fancy soap & lotion set that’s absolutely perfect for gift giving. The coconut fragrance is so very nice. The soap lathers up beautifully & clean real well. It’s also moisturizing & doesn’t dry my skin out. The lotion goes on nicely, moisturizes well & doesn’t leave any greasy or oily film.
Both the soap & lotion are absolutely perfect for a proper primping. It arrives in a gorgeous tin & is made with great ingredients.

Beautiful tin, the scent is very pretty just a bit strong , marigold scent more than orange blossom, but it does soften after a few minutes. The lotion is my favorite. It’s thick so you only need a little and it spreads and absorbs fast. There was zero greasiness and left my hands feeling super velvet soft. Love it! This is priced however a bit high in my opinion at 24.00 for soap and mini lotion even with the beautiful tin. There are similar options at many discount retailers for about 10.00 less . I really do love the set though and this would make an excellent gift if the recipient isn’t adverse to strong scents.

This comes in an impressive tin. Would make a nice, special gift. The bar of soap is generous in size and heft. The soap is larger than a typical bar of soap. I received this in orange blossom scent. I am not a fan of the smell. It smells a bit old fashion. It reminds me of my grandmother’s display soap. But the products are very moisturizing. They make skin feel very smooth but not greasy. Once applied the scent is faint and leaves the skin quickly. I like the product, just not the smell.

I recently tried the La Chatelaine Ultra-Rich Hand Cream and Triple Milled Soap, and both products were fantastic! The hand cream, with 20% organic Shea Butter, Vitamin E, and Argan Oil, deeply moisturizes and absorbs quickly, leaving my hands soft and rejuvenated. It’s rich but not greasy, making it perfect for everyday use.
The **triple milled soap** is equally impressive, crafted in Provence, France, and offers a luxurious lather while nourishing the skin with organic Shea Butter and Argan Oil. I love that both products are plant-based, cruelty-free, and free of harsh chemicals. I’m very picky about my soap. This La Chatelaine Gardenia soap fulfills all of my requirements!
1. It has to be a bar soap. Liquid soaps are for laundry and dishes, not for my skin!
2. It can’t smell like soap. I hate a soapy scent. The scent of my soap has to be something nice, not soapy.
3. The texture has to be just right. It has to be soft enough to come off of the bar and onto my hands easily, but not so soft that the bar gets mushy. Mushy soaps are ick.
4. I prefer a soap that fits into my soap dish from the start rather than hanging over the edge until I’ve used some of the soap.
This soap bar meets my whole list of requirements. I was going to use it as a shower soap, since it is so nice, but then I decided to put it at the sink so I can use it more often, since I wash my hands many times throughout the day. It is a perfect fit in my soap dish.
My preferred scent for a soap is lilac, so since that wasn’t an option I chose the gardenia scent. Citrus scents remind me of household cleaning products, coconut scent makes me hungry for pie (haha), and I gag at the scent of lavender, so I chose gardenia. It is a lovely, pleasant scent. I just washed my hands before typing this review, and I keep smelling my hands because the gardenia scent is so pleasant!
I like the tin, too! The tin is sturdy and reusable. I like that the sides of the tin aren’t marked with a brand or any info. The info is all on the bottom, and there’s an embossed logo on the lid. When the tin is on a shelf, it isn’t noticeable as product packaging; it looks just like a cute little tin.
The hand cream has the same nice scent as the soap. The hand cream, however, leaves a greasy feeling on my hands. I use it as a body lotion instead, since I don’t like greasy-feeling hands. There’s nothing wrong with it as a body lotion; it’s just the label “hand cream” that is the disagreement with me.

This soap and hand cream set is so luxurious and smells amazing. It has a light coconut milk scent to it and the triple milled soap foams up and lathers. This soap is very moisturising and feels good. 🙂
The hand cream is deeply nourishing and does take a while to absorb. It’s a rich shea butter mixture and feels creamy on the hands. I like the metal tube as it feels premium.
All of this comes in a collectable tin that I will be reusing long after this set is gone. This set left my skin feleing so soft and clean with a light coconut scent so I highly recommend it if you have the money to splurge. 🙂

The French know what they’re doing when it comes to soap and lotion. This is such a nice set. I love the metal container. It makes it perfect for a gift, and it makes it look classy. I’d say it is classy. The lavender scent is amazing. The lotion is rich and makes my skin feel soft. The soap is gentle and cleans my skin as well as I’d hope. The set seems to work together to keep my skin in good condition. It’s even plant based. I love it.

I thought this was pretty nicely packaged in a metal tin container. I have not used it as it’s a gift for a friend but it smelled nice through the packaging.
