Fingers crossed it seems to be working. I’ve under an intense amount of stress recently and haven’t had a break out since taking one capsule daily. If my experience continues I’ll be ordering regularly.

The lysine is sort of a secret vitamin supplement that does a lot more than it is well known for. I study supplementation and have used L-lysine for several years. I have been taking L-Lysine for YEARS to avoid cold sores! But the tablets are super huge and were becoming more and more difficult to swallow. I have tried different brands, I’ve tried liquid (tastes awful), but am so happy to have finally found the capsules. They are so much easier to swallow than the big tablets. I have this on auto-delivery!!

I’ve been taking this product for about 20 day’s now. My review is, it does not seem to be doing much of anything…After a week I upped my dose and no results. I actually seem to be breaking out more than ever before. Which is odd because I’m not known to get bad acne./: I was hoping this would help but, no success . I will look for an alternate product.

I’ve been taking this product (1 capsule/day) for the last 4 months. It has worked as I intended it to and I haven’t had any cold sores in that time, (last semester of grad school when stress was through the roof and surely should have had something).
I also think it important to note that in those 4 months I gained 9 lbs without changing anything else in my life (I have a healthy diet and workout/lift regularly). At first this freaked me out, but since I can’t find these 9 lbs anywhere in the mirror, I have come to suspect that the majority of it is from muscle. Again, I blame this on the lysine, since that was the only change I made. I haven’t been able to take a body composition or a body fat percentage test in order to confirm this – again this is just my suspicion. UPDATE: suspicion confirmed. My body fat percentage stayed relatively the same concluding that most of what I gained was muscle. Thank you lysine.

I use this product for my immune system. If I don’t take at least 500mg daily I break out in fever blisters. When I am going to be in hot sun or wind I take 1000mg. This is the only source where I have found it in capsule form.
