Update:
They have a new formula. Now it’s a clear liquid that’s roughly the consistency of water and the flavor is much more plain and subtle. It’s still good, but it’s completely different. Unfortunately, it’s impossible for me to get more than 0.75 into the dropper. So if I want 2 ml, I have to fill it about three times: 0.75 + 0.75 + 0.50.

Edit: 30 drops isn’t one full dropper. One full dropper is 15 drops. So 2 full droppers is 30 drops. This is in my original review, but this information is too important to leave buried in my long review. I see too many people complaining about how this stuff doesn’t last long, and I see other people saying a little goes a long way, etc. The only way I can see someone saying a little goes a long way with this is if they were counting 30 or 60 drops as per the dosing instructions and then realized they could cut that in half and still get the full benefits. smh This is a great product, but it seems to me this company doesn’t understand that the product is too thick for 30 drops to equal only 1 ml. 30 drops of water from this dropper would be 1 ml, yes, but not this stuff.

I’m a 44-year old dude with Autism. For 3 years, I was taking the Svasthya L-Theanine liquid just because it sounded like a good idea and I kinda liked what it did for me. I was also heavily caffeinated back then but I quit caffeine 2 weeks ago. Anyway, about 6 months ago I stopped taking several of my supplements to save money, but a few days ago I started taking my L-Theanine again just to see how I’d feel on it caffeine-free and fell in love with it all over again. It seems to be much more effective now. Unfortunately the bottle I still had wasn’t full and so I placed an order for more directly from the company (estimated delivery from Amazon was almost 2 weeks out), but after it shipped directly from the company, it didn’t look like it would get here before I used up what’s left in my last bottle.
So I came here looking for others and I found a few that would definitely arrive soon enough and all of them looked very good, but I ordered this one by Nature’s Craft because it has Chamomile in it. I’ve never had anything with Chamomile before, so I figured this was a good opportunity to try something new.
The verdict? I think this L-Theanine by Nature’s Craft is better! It has a better flavor and I like the way it makes me feel more than the other stuff I was taking. I feel it almost immediately (as expected for a liquid supplement), and I dunno, I just feel GOOD. It’s the same feeling as the L-Theanine from the other company but it’s remarkably better and I’m guessing that’s the Chamomile.
There is one little thing to mention though: the first time I smelled it, I thought it smelled like some kind of a nice hand soap that I’ve smelled before. This isn’t a bad thing. I just found it to be amusing and actually quite pleasant. Now that I’ve tasted it though, all I smell is the delicious flavor.
Oh and yes it’s a little bit thick. Nature’s Craft says 30 drops for children and 60 drops for adults, but this would only work if it were of the consistency of water. If you were to do 30 drops of this stuff, you’d get a dose that far exceeds 1 mL, and if you did 60 drops it would far exceed 2 mL. They really ought to omit the part about the number of drops and just say 1 mL for children and 2 mL for older children and adults. Another customer said that a little goes a long way with this stuff, and I’ll bet they’re just going by the number of drops. Yeah the first time I took this stuff, I think I counted maybe 10 drops or so for just over 1 mL. It might’ve been 8 or 9 drops. I don’t remember now but I knew after 1-2 drops there was no way I’d get only 1 mL from 30 drops. I will try to remember to count them the next time I take it and then update this review with what I find.
One more note: the way I take this is the same for any liquid supplement: I put it on a dinner spoon and then I “pour” it onto the space under my tongue. This enables me to keep the dropper clean and sanitary. Unfortunately, the thickness of this stuff means it doesn’t run off the spoon very well, and so I hold my “pouring off the spoon” position for several seconds, and then I squeeze the spoon very hard with my lips and pull the spoon out and then I hold the liquid under my tongue for 30+ seconds, swallow, and I lick what’s left off the spoon even though there’s almost nothing there – but I can taste it. Hey like I said it’s delicious!
So yeah, get this! I think you will love it.

I have been taking magnesium supplements for about a month at night to help sleep. And I liked them and believed them to work, but I’ve switched to these drops instead for a week now and my sleep has definitely improved. I hardly wake up throughout the night and I feel more rested in the morning. The liquid itself is kinda thick and has a slight vitamin-like taste but the lemon flavoring cuts it really well. I use 2 dropper fulls straight on the back of my tongue before I go to sleep. A couple sips of water to wash it down and no bad aftertaste. The instructions say you can mix it in a hot or cold beverage but I find that the taste isn’t strong enough for me to need to do that. I will continue to use these for the sleep benefits alone. 5/5 would recommend

I purchased this product to help me rest and fall asleep easier. It did work well, about like a melatonin. It’s a very subtle, calming, relaxation and does not cause a hangover in the morning. My only complaint is because the product is thicker, it seems to stick to the dropper and it’s hard to know if you are getting a full dropper or not.

I was so excited to try this out. I got the bottle and noticed there was a crack on the outside but it seemed small something I could overlook if everything else was fine. Until I look at the dropper and there’s some shards that are inside. I’m hoping it’s just sugar but I can’t even get a new one to replace this bottle :/ just be aware you might get a product that wasn’t stored correctly and either got dropped and has glass shards or heat caused sugar to start to crystallize.
