I had been having very anxious bad dreams for a couple of weeks, and having trouble getting to sleep. I started taking one of these before bed and the nightmares stopped and I was able to sleep more easily. It does take about an hour for them to kick in, so I had to adjust when I took them, and they take a while to dissolve. I’d like if they dissolved a little faster. The taste is okay. Slightly chalky, but not nearly as bad as any other similar lozenge, melt, or chewable tablet I’ve ever tried. If you’ve tried papaya enzymes, that’s kind of what they taste like, but mintier and less chalky.

this has been the best l-theanine product so far and i have tried many different products. country life l-theanine is suntheanine which i believe makes a difference. i usually take two at night and one in the day if needed. these are pleasant tasting and texture is fine. i don’t believe i will be trying anymore as these are the best for me. i also believe these are a good value simply because they work… these help soothe benzo and alcohol withdrawals as well.

This stuff is pretty great, for me anyway. Works like an herbal Xanex when you need to stop worrying and shut up your brain a little!
This shipper got the order right, but a different shipper on Amazon Prime sent Melatonin twice, and I had to ship it back twice. Use this shipper.

I didn’t like the artifical sweetener in the product, it gave it a strange aftertaste. But it also didn’t help me sleep any better either so it’s just sitting on the counter collecting dust. Maybe I will toss it later, but I definitely would not recommend the product. Waste of money in my book….

I’ve tried other brands. These work fastest and have been more effective for me. When needed, they’ve helped with sleep at night and calmness during the day. I adjust the dose using less during the day and more at night. My doctor recommended this specific brand because he takes a dose before speaking in front of large groups.

Maybe it’s my taste buds, but as some reviewers noted, I also found this L-theanine chewable bitter & chalky. Awful. I bought a mint version, since sometimes when I need L-theanine, I may also have an upset stomach (since it’s known that some neurotransmitters are in the gut). As far as L-theanine goes, it works, but I should have returned this product due to the flavor. I still prefer Natural Factors Suntheanine cherry-flavored chewable over this one by far.

It’s a great product and very convenient in a dissolving form. The taste is good and it does have a calming effect. It’s very useful if I’m going into a stressful meeting or if I can’t sleep in the middle of the night, because it doesn’t require water to take it. I do think the price is too high though.
