I was psyched for the shimmer and glossy finish that this stick was touted to have, but I didn’t really find that I saw much of that when I applied this to my cheeks. It’s nicely pigmented and blends fairly easily but I do wish it was a bit more of a dewy finish at least. Love the tube it comes in – makes it much easier to apply.

Review: KYDA Mineral Color Balm, SPF 35, PINK
For reference, this stick is slightly larger than a chapstick but much smaller than a deodorant stick. For some reason in my head this was a larger balm. Regardless of size the texture is smooth and the color has a lot of shimmer to it. It’s actually perfect as a highlighter on cheeks. The texture is smooth and once blended, it doesn’t feel like it’s own separate layer on the skin. This is a product of China.
