This cleanser is a transparent gel. You do not need a lot … a small amount goes a long way. The scent is subtle and pleasant. I do not feel it rinsed off cleanly – like my skin still had a bit of a film on it. This could be user error, however.

I have sensitive skin but this face wash is fantastic! It’s not a foaming face wash. It’s a very smooth liquid soap type of wash. It does run a bit, so if you leave it on your face for a while, it will start to run into your eyes and burn.
The result is great! After using it one time, my skin felt so shiny and smooth!

I really like the way this soap feels on my skin. I can’t say it makes my skin brighter, but it definitely cleans it. I have very sensitive facial skin and it has not caused me any irritation. It lathers nicely, but not exclusively. It has a decent smell that’s not overwhelmingly strong. I don’t have to use much in my face to get a nice clean which I like because the soap should last a while. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it.

I have not used this product as a body wash, although it is listed as a face and body wash. I typically use cleansers only on my face. It’s not very foaming, but I’m used to that as my go-to cleanser is a scrub type as opposed to a foaming one. This particular cleanser goes on very smooth and lathers a little as you wash it off. It doesn’t have much of a scent and that’s a plus for me! I don’t particularly like overly-scented skincare products. I have not used it long enough to give an opinion on the hyperpigmentation/skin brightening properties of this product.

At the time I ordered this, the listing indicated the county of origin as USA. I always like to verify that on the actual product since I have seen that field be incorrect before. Unfortunately, I could not verify where it was made on the actual box or bottle. Now at the time of me writing the review, the listing now indicates China as the country of origin, which is a big difference. There are significantly more ingredients than what is on the listing, which I also dislike. The scent was fruity and reminded me of a mix of banana and pineapple. My face is normally pretty clear with only an occasional blemish, so I can’t say that I have noticed any improvements. However, I also haven’t noticed any reaction/breakouts from using it, so it seems like an ok facial cleanser.

I am glad that I found Kojic Acid and papaya in a gel form. I have used soaps before and they just leave a gloppy mess after use. This one is easy to use, easy to apply, easy to lather and rinse off. The scent is subtle and not cloying which I like. I mainly use it for creases that may benefit from skin lightening.
The price point is fair and affordable. I recommend this product.
