I hate to give bad reviews but unfortunately this product did not work for me. I was taking adrenal cortex extract in various doses. I usually started with a 300 mg (different brand) dose first thing in the morning and my second dose around 10 AM was 250 mg. When I ran out of my 250 mg dose I ordered this brand since my usual brand was out of stock everywhere. I took it two days in a row and by noon felt like I hadn’t taken anything. I realized it was the product. So for me personally it felt like it did nothing.

I’ve used several different brands of adrenal cortex, and this one works very well for me. On most days, I use a much smaller does, but on days when my adrenals are destroyed, I appreciate having a higher dose available. And it gives me the extra energy I need to keep going strong without making me feel shaky.

I take more than the recommended dose based on advice from a naturopath. I take 4-5 per day instead of 1 but I would build up to that to make sure it works for you

I have this on subscription every month. I have 6 every morning, this gives me a boost few hours later. Great product for someone like me, who has adrenal and thyroid issues. I usually suffer from low energy, lethargy, headaches without this product. I’ve tried several other brands, but like Klaire the best.

Not many adrenal cortex products on the market will give you much of the stuff in each capsule. Perhaps many people just don’t need it much at all, in that case, but there are those whose adrenals are shredded and need a higher dose. I’m so happy that it comes this way and that the fillers and binders are more minimized because of that.
Take this with some juice and it will help its absorption significantly! Adrenal cortex has natural iron in abundance, so taking it with something that has Vitamin C in it will help more of it get into your system. (By that notion, don’t take this with anything calcium-laden. Calcium likes to bind to iron and neither get absorbed.)
Without this product, I would barely be able to function at all. My adrenals are so bad, getting out of bed is hard to do. I take this and high doses of Vitamin C and my adrenals are coming back to life, slowly but surely.

24hr cortisol saliva test showed I had nearly zero cortisol the entire day. The test results said “adrenal fatigue phase I”. I’ve taken other adrenal products to help, but read that adrenal cortex is best. This is the highest mg I can find & I’m thrilled to see it on Amazon. I looked up the website & was happy about the animal sourcing as well. I take this along with Pure Encapsulation ADR Formula in the morning & then another adrenal cortex in the afternoon. That’s when I take my thyroid meds as well (thyroid & adrenals talk to each other & when one is out it makes the other wonky). Before the cortisol test I had extreme fatigue- like wanting to fall asleep while driving kids to school or something. Like pull the car over cause rolling down Windows is not keeping me awake exhaustion! Also had a serious aversion to light & sounds.
*update- was having a hard time sleeping so opted to take 2 adrenal cortex in morning & completely drop the ADR formula. Much better. Also I would recommend getting your thyroid checked since they talk with adrenals. Make sure it’s the FULL thyroid panel that includes freeT3 & freeT4. *update: I replaced this supplement with GLA. Feels like a miracle! Google GLA healthyHomeEconomist… my progesterone/estrogen ratio is FINALLY getting closer to 600:1. Wonder why I’m mentioning hormones when this is for Adrenals? Google progesterone steal… adrenals steal what they need to keep you truckin along! Even if you are barely truckin.
