Youth to the People Superfood Daily Duo Kit
4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. The 2 oz cleanser and 2 oz moisturizer (a small glass bottle and jar) arrived in a branded box that has the price right on it (“$48 USD $62 VALUE”), which would make it odd for gifting. Otherwise, the box is sturdy/protective, it’s a good presentation, and ingredients are listed. Neither product had a safety seal, but both were positioned deep inside that box (they were a bit difficult to remove), so in my mind that acted as a seal.
I have acne-prone, combination skin. I loved the Superfood gel cleanser from the moment I smelled it (lightly fresh, very green, and clean). There are four perfuming agents (Fragrance/Parfum, hexyl cinnamal, linalool, and limonene), one of which is an EU-26 fragrance if you are sensitive, but they are all towards the bottom of the ingredient list. I continued loving it after my first use of it, and I found myself looking forward to using it throughout the last few weeks. Two ounces isn’t a lot of cleanser, but it’s more than enough to decide whether it works for you. There’s a larger bottle available, but it’s not inexpensive, so it’s helpful to have a smaller one to try first. The Kale / Green Tea / Spinach / Vitamins cleanser has a lot of antioxidants and other helpful ingredients, quickly creates a moderate lather, and rinses off well. My skin felt clean and healthy. Balanced, not dry. I didn’t experience any irritation or spots while using it.
The glass jar of almost unscented moisturizer (there are two perfuming agents: Limonene is 4th from the end and the vague Parfum/Fragrance is listed absolutely last) is the typical “dip your finger in” jar that isn’t my favorite, but it’s the right weight for me (very light without any greasiness), it absorbed well within a reasonable amount of time over both my daytime (essence/antioxidant serum) and nighttime (toner/retinol) products, and my daytime SPF was fine over it. This moisturizer contains a lot of excellent antioxidants and soothing ingredients that work well with my skin. No tackiness for me once fully absorbed. My skin felt hydrated, soothed, and soft.
Vegan. Cruelty-free. An icon states the products should be good for at least 12 months once opened. “Made in the USA/Globally Sourced ingredients.”

I love love love the Youth To The People skincare line. I have used these products in the past and was thrilled to find this value set. The sizes of each product make them excellent for travel/on the go. The Superfood cleanser is one of my favorites-leaves my skin squeaky clean without feeling stripped. The moisturizer is lightweight yet hydrating enough even for those with dry skin. This would make a lovely gift for any skincare lover!

I really enjoy using the Youth to the People Superfood Daily Duo Kit. Each of the products is 2oz, which is a fantastic deal. To put it in perspective, at the time of my writing this review, the 2oz Air Whipped Moisture cream alone sells for $48 per bottle. I’m particularly fond of the fresh scent in both products (they’re similar to each other). It reminds me of a smoothie made with kale and spinach, with a subtle sweetness from green tea. It’s intriguing how the product captures the essence of its main ingredients – it enhances the sensation that I’m truly nourishing my skin, which I value. I’m purchasing another set for my self and a close relative who shares my passion for skincare products.

I’m really picky about my facial cleansers. This one fits the hill because it feels natural and non drying and is gentle but effective at removing makeup. My skin needs nourishment and so I do like products with superfood ingredients like this. The price is a bit much as its about $48 for 4 ounces of product (some of which is water). Therefore while I enjoyed this – especially the cleanser – I didn’t love it enough to make a switch from my regular face wash by rd alchemy.

I love the cleanser it leaves my face feeling fresh & clean. The moisturizer I do not like it leaves a tacky residue on my skin it does smooth out on my skin. It smells good and the cleanser is really good I give it 2 thumbs up but the moisturizer thumbs down

i love that the moisturizer is taken in by my oily skin very easily! it does not feel oily at all and it feels very lightweight! cant wait to see the result it brings after using it for a longer time!
