I have used Murad and Dr Grandel products for many years! I thought they worked well, but when I reached post-menopause the skin issues I had as a child that had disappeared when I hit puberty returned with a vengeance. After suffering for a few years and trying other products (including several Eminence products which I did like and an Avene moisture mask my cousin recommended), I discovered the Avene Tolerance line. I bought this starter set (which includes a full-size cream!) and saw an immediate improvement — and the positive results have continued. In fact, with continued use, my skin has only gotten better. Gone are the red, burning, dry flakey patches around my eyes — and those patches on my scalp along my hairline have faded. Avenue Tolerance has truly given me miraculous results and I’ve been able to virtually eliminate the use of prescription skin medications for eczema and rosacea as a result! Another bonus is the cream does not irritate my eyes so I wear it under my eyes, in the contour and even on the lids. Thank you, Avene!!! Now, if only I could re-grow the hair I also lost at menopause!🤣

At first I seemed a little dry but my skin is adjusting. I did by the other cream they sell and I like that too. My skin is calming down. Really like the mineral spray. Very happy.

If you have sensitive skin this product is for you!!! I have acne rosacea and very sensitive skin. I have spent so much money on skin care products that claimed to be for sensitive skin but made my face worse. I had completely given up on my skincare regimen until I came across this brand. I told myself that this would be the last thing that I tried and I am so glad that I did. I have not had any irritation with any of these products and my face looks and feels so much healthier. It soothes the irritation, redness, burning and dryness from my rosacea. My face has never been so soft and moisturized. My dermatologist recommends this brand and it is safe to use with my prescription cream for rosacea. I am not the one to usually write reviews but I had to for these products. They are wonderful and worth the money!

If you’re down here reading the reviews, you’re probably thinking what I was thinking: “I know I have sensitive skin, but do I have HYPERsensitive skin?” I don’t really have an answer for you, but I will say that my redness and acne have calmed down considerably since starting this routine. After two days, my partner told me, completely unprompted, that my skin was looking good and feeling soft.
Everyone’s skin is different, but I would say that for this price it’s worth a shot. If you hate your red face and/or get the feeling you’ve been overexfoliating to address zits and wrinkles, I expect this will do good things for your face.
