The bottles are what I consider travel size….not full size, but not a sample size either. The lip mask is very moisturizing, kind of too greasy feeling for my liking. I do like the clay face wash….it is very smooth and refreshing. The moisturizer is too thin…almost watery once on the skin. After just a few minutes, I feel the need to apply more. None of the products really have any type of scent/odor. The products are just ok and a little overpriced in my opinion.

Great little set. I especially like the lip masque. I use it overnight and my lips feel so much better, I haven’t had any wind burn this winter since using it.

I had high hopes for this kit, as it comes with full sized items and the idea of it being sustainably sourced, however the product coming in plastic is kind of counterproductive. Onto the quality. I started with the clay cleanser, as I love a decent clay wash/mask. I felt like this took entirely too long to wash off my face. Much longer than my normal routine and even longer than my clay mask removals. I also didn’t notice a difference in the cleanliness of my skin, If anything, I felt there was some residue left over. The moisturizer dried out fairly quickly on my skin (for reference, I have dry/sensitive skin) and the lip mask was a little too goopy for my liking. I don’t think I would be recommending this to anyone unless you’re familiar with the brand and already like the products.

This is a great introduction to Fieldtrip brand skincare. The products are suitable for both men and women. They contain no artificial fragrance or essential oils, the packaging is recyclable and the formulas are vegan. I got this on a whim, but am surprised at how impressed I am. I’ll review each item individually.
PURIFYING FACE CLEANSER – This is a kaolin clay based cleanser. Presumably, that would make it ideal for those with oily skin, but it also contains almond oil which mitigates the drying properties of the clay. It doesn’t foam but it feels more intense and deeply cleansing than a traditional cream cleanser. It contains a bunch of botanical extracts and oils, including peppermint, which gives it a bracing aroma and leaves my face feeling ultra-fresh.
STRESS LESS MOISTURIZER – Even though this is a lotion (in a tube) rather than a cream (in a jar), it reminds me very much of the Blithe Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum, which is a pudding-like jar of cream. It has a lightweight gel texture that’s more hydrating than nourishing. As with the cleanser this is perfect for someone who wants a light layer of moisture, without any pore-clogging occlusivity. On the downside, it has that rubber-ish scent typical of many unscented beauty products.
HYDRATING LIP MASK – Despite containing no petroleum products, this has the dense consistency of a traditional Vaseline-based lip product. Super thick and gloopy. I love this for nighttime. It has great staying power and is superior to the popular K-Beauty Lip Sleeping Masks (like Laneige).
All in all, an impressive and effective starter/travel set.

This is a great and a thoughtful starter set that I really like. The package contains a face cleanser, moisturizer and a lip balm.
The face cleanser is made out of clay but has a thin consistency that can evenly be used all over the face. It definitely gives that clean feel right after the rinse.
The next one is the moisturizer which is smooth, non-greasy and absorbs pretty quickly. However, I really wished it had more quantity in there as I might run out of it pretty soon.
The lip balm is also a great addition to this set and is really coming in handy during this winter season. Overall, I like this kit and would definitely recommend to getting it.

Product: Fieldtrip Starter Set
First thing I noticed is that these products seem fun sized. They’re definitely larger than every other starter kit I’ve used.
The best product in the kit is definitely the lip mask. I started using it after returning from a subtropical region to the winter Midwest via a 20 hour flight. You can imagine my lips were unhappy- super dry and chapped. The lip mask work better than my favorite lip balm. It is sorry glossy due to castor oil as a to ingredient. Typically I don’t tolerate castor oil well, but did fine with this.
The face wash clearly has clay as a main ingredient-it is obvious from the cookie and texture. It is not over drying.
The moisturizer is more of a summer moisturizer. This is coming from someone with combination, but usually oily, skin. It’s very light weight and feels great going on but absorbs quickly and leaves minimal hydration. One really great thing was, despite having no “non-comedogenic” labeling, I had zero issues with increased break outs.

I have tried many of the Fieldtrip skin products and I really like the quality and how effective their products are. This skin kit includes of 3 different products in small size which is amazing as you can have them with you while you travel. The kit comes with one face cleanser, face moisturizer and lip balm. The quality is really good. The cleanser is very gentle on skin and keeps the skin hydrated after each wash. the moisturizer blends very well on the skin and helps the skin stay moisturized and smooth all day long. The lip cream is great to keep the lips smooth and soft.
