The product is very good … the soap that is. And you are paying $7.50 per small bottle – but it is a foam pump.
I don’t like that foam pump – it tips over easily.
And I don’t believe it is that much of an environmentally friendly product. The bottle arrives empty – good I guess since it won’t spill, and still has that “anti-pump” ring which has to be removed and thrown away. You fill it the first time with a “refill” package — as an English teacher, if it is filling the first time, this is NOT a refill “re” means to “fill again”. But we begin with an empty container. Then you just get ONE refill after that.
If you want me to believe the advertisement – that this is enviromentally friendly and saving plastic from the landfills … give me more than just 2 “refill packs”. AND allow me to purchase more of those refill packages. Second – provide me with a bottle that will last a while, and not tip over.
Ad also boasts that it provides American jobs – kudos for that. But I’m a struggling low income worker and my income needs to stretch farther than that.
Great first step in the war for conservation… just really falls short with me.
Because when I run out of my two fills … I’m just going to use my castile soap – and you will not have a repeat customer. I don’t want to buy a second cheap pump bottle and soap that costs $7.50 each. One of the other reviewers also mentioned that a package with 5 or 10 refills would be more well received by those determined to save the planet. As well as an option to buy only refills, so we can fill the bottle again.
As far as the soap goes … it is nice, rich, and leaves hands feeling good in these days of washing hands every time we touch something new. Much better than alcohol based cleaners. Also good for repairing the damage to skin from the alcohol.

I love the idea of this Truly Free Aloe Liquid Hand Soap Starter Kit. You receive a foaming soap pump and two fills so it is like getting a soap and another refill for the dispenser.
* what makes it special *
The idea is that the soap itself is packaged with minimum packaging and is concentrated so all you need to do it pour it into the dispenser and add water! A great eco friendly idea that is space saving too!
* the product *
gentle on the skin, unscented, which is good for sensitive individuals but I wish there was a naturally scented version in the kit. flames well and very easy to use.
* packaging *
the direction for use are clear and easy to follow. the pump bottle was convenient for little hands to use.
minimalistic refills are great.
* ethical considerations *
saves on materials, plant based, clean ingredients, eco friendly, made in the USA, company states that it supports charity/ social projects. I couldn’t find on the label anywhere that states it is cruelty free.
All in all I am very happy with it.
I hope you find this review helpful.

Love this hand soap! My hands feel hydrated and soft after using. The clean ingredients are a must and the cute bottle it comes in is perfect! Will definitely be buying this for every bathroom in my house.

I am now finishing up the refill in this set, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t get it again. I didn’t find it to be worth the cost. The bottle is pretty small, and the soap, even though it comes out as a nice thick foam, doesn’t lather well, so I found myself using more than I normally would to get my hands clean. It doesn’t feel harsh, but it also doesn’t feel like it cleans as effectively as other soaps in this category. And the smell isn’t great, though I prefer a more natural aroma over synthetic fragrances. Overall, I just don’t think it’s worth it.

I like the fact that it cleans with no harsh chemicals for the kiddos and doesn’t leave your hands feeling dried out and it also comes with a refill!

Review for: Truly Free Aloe Liquid Hand Soap Starter Kit – 1 8.5oz Dispenser Pump Bottle, 2 Hand Soap Refill – Non Drying, Moisturizing With 10x Concentrated Aloe Vera – No Harsh Ingredients – Health & Household
I am a fan of this kit. I really like the soap because it doesn’t dry my hands out but even more than that, I like that you only need one bottle and you just keep refilling it. This means that unless your soap dispenser breaks, it will never go to the landfill.
To mix the soap, you follow the instructions on the soap packet or the empty bottle. Basically you are just adding water. Because the dispenser is a foaming version, it creates a nice foam soap when dispensed. The empty packets are recyclable so you aren’t throwing anything our.
The dispenser is super cute, small and square and should last for years. You really can use up all of your other odds and ends of hand soap with it. If you just follow the instructions on the bottle, you can turn any hand soap into a foaming product.

This hand soap cleans well. It is fragrance free, and just smells faintly of clean soap. This did NOT dry out my hands, whereas most foaming soaps do. However, the line “The more you wash your hands…the softer they get!” was not true for me. My hands did not get softer, but they didn’t get dried out either. So I still like this brand over others.
The refills are easy to use – just pour one in the dispenser, top off with warm water, and shake. It produces a clear, thin liquid that foams up well.
I love the idea of less waste. Less water used in the product, less plastic, less of a shipping cost.
