I bought the starter set of SomeBy Mi Retinol eye cream and serum and loved it so much I purchased the full sizes right away! I have sensitive skin, and this beautiful retinol does not irritate me at all. In fact, I use the eye cream in the morning, as well as night. You ABSOLUTELY MUST wear quality sunscreen as your last step in the morning. I highly recommend the Skin1004 Water Sunscreen SPF50. If you don’t, you are cancelling out all the great work you are doing for your skin. this Retinol Serum and eye cream will address the elasticity, texture and pigmentation as well as fine lines. I have mature skin and this has been the best Retinol Serum, by far. I use it 4 x a week because I am used to it. As you begin this regime, start with 1 x week, then add days when you see how you are doing. This will not cause skin purging or dryness.

I am liking this retinol so far. I’ve been in the marketing to start adding retinol into my skin care routine as I am now in my early 30’s, but I have been so scared to introduce myself to them due to me having damaged skin barrier, dry, and sensitive skin. I focused on healing my skin barrier first, and when I saw reviews and trial kit on this brand, I decided to give it a chance. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now, using it about every 2nd or 3rd night to slowly introduce my skin. So glad I gave it a chance cause my skin has not purge at all, which I was terrified of. I’m going to try to use it every other night to see how my skin reacts. Enjoying the retinol, the eye cream is okay so far.

Not sure if the product should be sealed/taped, but mine came open or not sealed. The box also has some scribbles in front (see photo). Haven’t used the product though, will update if effective.

This is a retinol eye cream and serum, it causes irritation on regular skin, much less eyeballs. So I was very careful not to put it too close to my eye and only used it on crows feet area and under my eyes. I tried also not to use it on my eyelids because if you sweat etc it can get into your eye. I also did not use it at night time for fear it might get into my eyes if I accidentally rub it etc. I also did not use both products together because I think that would be too much. I either used the serum OR the cream.
That being said it worked alright for me, but I only used it once a week at first and mixed it into moisturizer (25% retinol serum or cream and 75% moisturizer) and then gradually used it every 4 days and have been keeping that schedule of every 4 days since I didn’t want to cause irritation to my eye area since it is more sensitive than other parts of my face. Again, I mixed a little bit of this with moisturizer to ease the area into this stuff! Do not use by itself the first few times, you need to slowly accustom your skin to it! Otherwise, I used it a bit (mixed 50% retinol serum or cream and 50% moisturizer) around my nose and my mouth and forehead area to help with wrinkles there. It seemed to do well and my skin reacted okay to it.
I don’t think the product itself gives adequate warning and instructions. So for that I am removing a star. If used correctly, this does help with lines and wrinkles. For those of you that have never use retinol, use bakucheol first around the eyes before jumping into this or mix this with a bit of moisturizer that works well with retinol and use it sparingly every week or every couple of days.
