I have been having chronic coughs in the past year and haven’t been able to find anything that helped soothe my throat other than taking medication. I have some pretty bad allergies when I’m out of the house..And it gets worse if the air is a bit dry. My wife saw these lozenges advertised on Facebook, and they looked promising. Sugar free, all natural, etc. We looked at the active ingredients and saw they were Menthol, which is in many lozenges, and Acetyl Salicylic Acid, which sounded a bit familiar but set off no red flags. When our order came in and I fully looked at the directions I saw all the familiar warnings for products that contain aspirin! But aspirin is not listed, and the proper chemical name is acetylsalicylic acid. Was this an intentional ploy to hide it contains aspirin? We cannot take this due to the aspirin, and this Biovanta product cannot be returned to Amazon, so we paid for a product we cannot use due to questionable marketing.

I researched several lozenges to combat sore throat. After reading reviews I chose these lozenges. The first time I used them? My biggest concern was the terrible aftertaste. I also react very poorly to menthol, as well. Neither was any kind of problem. They do exactly what they should, don’t upset my stomach, and one was usually enough for a lot of relief for a long time. Only once did I need a second a few hours later, which keeps the cost down.
