Best sunscreen for the price! Goes on smooth and silky like a regular moisturizer. It isn’t thick and heavy like your usual sunscreens and has a pleasant fresh scent. Honestly the best! I wish they sold a bigger size.

The ISEHAN Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence Sunscreen Gel is one of the best facial sunscreens I’ve ever used. Japanese sunscreens are on a whole separate level – the sunscreen goes on super smoothly, feels like you’re wearing nothing at all on your skin, and it plays well with makeup. This particular bottle is the real deal – I bought sunscreen in Japan, used it all, and was hoping that the sunscreen was legit – and it was! It’s light, has the same soft citrusy scent, and work perfectly at protecting my skin. It doesn’t drip or come off when you’re sweating, and is perfect for everyday use. It’s a high-quality Japanese sunscreen that I would buy again.

This is the best price I have seen for this spf in some time. This is a good spf with a fairly heavy scent. It is alcohol-free. It performs well under makeup and lasts a long time. There are other similar brands with formulas I prefer, but none are as affordable as this.

I have dark skin and I used to use the original version of Biore UV water essence when it used to be sold in the US. They stopped selling that and changed the formula for US markets and I’ve had a tough time finding one that works. This is a good alternative to the Biore UV. While it is slightly thicker than Biore UV (I attached a few photos with this review. The one on the right is Biore UV, the one on left is this one), it doesn’t show on my dark skin once I rub it in (yes, it takes a bit longer for it to get “absorbed”), it is reasonably light weight and didn’t yet cause any allergic reactions on my face. That said, I’ve just started using it so I’ll update this review if something changes.
