I enjoy Kiehl’s products; I have used their facial moisturizer before and loved it, so I was very excited to try out the Ultra Body Mega Moisture Squalane Cream. I’m glad I did, because this cream did not disappoint!
The jar contains 8.4 fluid ounces of cream, and a little seriously does go a long way. When you think body cream, you typically imagine something heavy and thick, but this cream is not that. It’s actually quite light, texture wise, but that does not stop it from being comparable in efficacy.
With ceramides, squalane, glacial glycoprotein, glycerin, shea butter, etc, this formula comes together beautifully to provide intense, long lasting moisture to dry or thirsty skin.
Myself and my family have all been battling a nasty virus for the past week, so we’ve been stuck at home together. I have washed my hands so, so, so many times in the last week. That plus hand sanitizer means my hands were looking and feeling terrible. All of the hand washing actually caused eczema flares on the top of my hands and back of my wrists. I’ve been using this cream to combat the awful dry skin and to keep the eczema rash at bay, and it’s helped tremendously.
My hands were so dry that they looked like I had aged 10 years, but one application of this had them hydrated and looking perfectly normal. Now that everyone is getting better, I’ve been able to test the cream’s longevity, and I do feel like the hydration lasts a decent amount of time. It didn’t burn when I used it on the eczema sites, and did actually help the discomfort it causes. It’s healing up now and I’m using the cream to help rid me of the scaley skin that’s left behind.
This is not an oily/greasy type of cream. It’s very protective, but it does soak in and dry down rather quickly. I love that it doesn’t feel like it’s left a film behind, or like it’s just sitting on top of my skin. It’s definitely a thirst quencher!!

Kiehl’s started out as an affordable brand before Lancome acquired them and jacked up the prices! But I digress. There is a reason this brand sells like hotcakes though they’re super expensive. This cream is another proof for why. We got this for an aging parent as this is marketed for sensitive skin. It has no smell and seems pretty good to use even on older/mature skin. Only issue is that it has a small percentage of aluminum starch (for its anti caking properties). The percentage used isn’t something that is considered dangerous, but wish they’d not have had to use it at all. Overall, this is a fairly decent product, particularly if you already like the Kiehl’s line. If you can afford to shell out 60 bucks for the cream, I’d say go for it. It does come in a nice size (8-plus ounce jar) so should last a while.

Kiehl’s is a trusted brand in skincare so I was excited to try this lotion. I like that it has no scent and contains no synthetic fragrance. It’s nice and thick and feels very hydrating when you put it on but it’s not greasy. I like that it’s paraben-free and phthalate-free and that it’s made in the USA. I also like that it contains squalene and pro-ceramides, heroes in skincare. It’s a little on the pricey side at $49 at the time of this review but hopefully it will last for a while.

This cream is perfect for my skin during the cold, dry winter months. It prevents my skin from feeling itchy and dry and from looking ashy. It properly hydrates my skin as long as I apply it directly after I get out of the shower. However, it must be applied when my skin is still damp for me to get its proper results.
This cream absorbs quickly and does not leave my skin feeling greasy or shiny.
EXPIRATION DATE: UPON OPENING!
I always check for an expiration date before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. This product does not have one, which means the expiration is between 12-18 months UPON OPENING.
This Cream is as advertised, and works well. It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

This product is really nice and made my super dry and painful knuckles smooth and flexible again. The cream contains squalane (used in higher-end skin creams) which is recognized to to make skin really soft (babies produce a lot of squalane in their bodies). It also absorbs into my skin really fast. The product claims 3 seconds! I didn’t check it with a stopwatch, but it was extremely fast (provided I didn’t apply too much at once).
At US$58.00 at time of purchase, this isn’t a cheap cream. You have to decide if the quality and unique features tip the scales your way. It should also be said that Kiehl’s is a well known and quality brand (since 1851!). This is a product you can trust.

I love this product! She is THIIICK and ooh so moisturizing! didnt irritate my sensitive skin and and I woke up not feeling ashy and dry in the face! It definitely absorbs fast with leaving you dry. Paired with hyaluronic acid you will have plump moisturized skin in minutes! It is 50 bucks for alittle over 8oz of product. A little does go a long way and The Kiehls brand is a reputable brand so I feel the price point is fair. No fragrance what so ever. Worth a try!
