Kiehl’s has been around a while in the skin care industry, so I was excited to try out this hydrating cleansing bar, which is totally different from the gel cleanser I normally use. I’ve had bar soap dry out my skin before, but not with Kiehl’s! Lathers up winderfully and smells great. It’s great to use as part of a double cleanse in my skincare routine.

I am in my late 40’s and I have to be careful using products that may dry out my skin, because that just accentuates my wrinkes. I tend to shy away from bar “soaps” (I realize this isn’t considered soap but I am using a generic term) and instead use liquid cleansers on my face. However, the Kiehl’s cleansing bar doesn’t dry out my skin at all. After using it, my skin does not feel dry or tight, but rather lightly moisturized. It removes my makeup easily also.

This Kiehl’s ultra facial concentrated cleansing bar lathers up nicely. I’ve never used a cleansing bar before, so I was very interested in trying this one. This bar is for all skin types. I have sensitive skin, and it works really well for it. It cleanses well, and it rinses off easily. It gets rid of the dirt and makeup at the end of the day. It doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts. This cleansing bar is also unscented, so it would be good for anyone who is sensitive to certain scents in skincare products.

I love this Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Concentrated 3.5 oz Cleansing Bar! I get a nice lather to cover my face easily. This soap washes off clean without any noticeable residue and leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated. I detect no noticeable scent which is great when using a product on my face. Even after a few washes I do not see a difference in the size of the bar, so I expect this to last for a long time.

I thought this soap was fair with my skin. But truthfully, I found a simple bar of Dove soap actually works better on my skin, because it makes me feel much more clean than this showed.

I use bars of soap for traveling so I don’t have to deal with liquids. I use to use face wipes but felt my face wasn’t getting clean. This soap bar is thick. It’s going to last a while. Longer than cream soap. It made my face clean and soft with no breakouts. If you are on the fence as to whether it’s worth the money it is!

This soap bar is a lot bigger than I expected it to be! A little goes a long way as the soap from this soap bar suds up really well. I have really dry and sensitive face and this soap bar doesn’t dry out my face. Another good thing about this soap bar is that it is unscented so it will work great for those with sensitive skin.
My only concern with using this soap bar is the sanitary aspect of it. I am uncertain of where I can put the soap bar after using it to prevent mold/mildew from growing on it. It is also hard to prevent cross-contamination when using soap bars so it’s not my favorite thing to use in the world. I wish this would come out with a liquid version of this product.
