My youngest is very picky about taking medicine, she usually spits them out or just won’t take it.
But she tried this and will take it!!! I wouldn’t say it’s super yummy because it’s still medicine but it is good and it works great!!! I also love the ingredients

I was searching for a children’s Guaifesen and was horrified to find the major players in this space have added sucralose, aspartame, artificial dyes and almost all of the meds I found were a cold & flu formulation with a combination of too many drugs that my little did not need. So happy to have found KinderMed offers Guaifesen without acetaminophen, antihistamines or decongestants (not needed for this child at this time) and without artificial sweeteners, dyes or flavors!
The only complaint was regarding the flavor: while it didn’t taste awful (which most medicine did when I was a kid), the child complained about it not tasting good immediately and did not want to take the second dose. Yes, I know all the workarounds for this and don’t think it should prevent anyone from buying this medication, just wanted to mention it for two reasons: 1) some children have extreme aversions and their caregivers often appreciate the “heads up” and 2) the manufacturer will be able to see that there is demand for this product but room for improvement in the area of flavor. Overall it’s a great and much-needed product!

I dislike giving my kids medicine but this stuff works and helps them clear the gunk. I only use it when absolutely necessary. They don’t care for the taste but it’s better than the name brand option and I love that it’s a cleaner option.

This cold/cough medicine is awesome! It works well and I love that it doesn’t have anything artificial in it. The only thing is that my kids don’t like to take ANY cold/cough medicine unless it’s super sweet. They’re all on the pickier side so it’s always been difficult to get them to take medicine. But other than that, it’s awesome and it works well.
