    I typically buy the loose powder jar but the packets make it so easy to travel and bring my electrolytes with me. However, this time around 6 out of the 20 packets didn’t have any powder in them. I’m hoping it’s an oversight or manufacturer error. I was really displeased that i don’t have my full servings and that i’ve been skimmed out of them.

    I drink electrolytes powder almost every day to increase my water intake. I typically look for something with low or no sugar/calories. I mix a packet into 32 oz of water to offer just a mild flavoring. I have tried about 5 different brands and had never had a problem with any taste/flavoring. While I like some flavors less than others— I have never been unable to drink any electrolyte powder, until this one.

    I bought the watermelon and the flavor is incredible sweet and “Apple-y”. The smell this drink puts off is very different from the taste. While the taste is alright, the smell is very pedialyte-cough syrupy. The smell is so strong and so off-putting that I can’t drink this product. When a full glass is sitting on my desk or nightstand, the smell starts to make feel nauseous because it smells so much like medicine and pedialyte that I think my body is reminded of being sick in the past. I have a feeling that this smell would be present in any of the flavors because it doesn’t come through in the actual taste. I have drank three packets by plugging my nose and chugging but ultimately will just throw away the entire 40 pack.

    I know that all sounds very dramatic but it is my experience of someone who is typically NOT picky about electrolyte flavoring at all. I am so mad at myself for buying a 40 pack without trying a smaller pack first. Lesson learned.

    I bought these because I was looking for something to keep in my purse to mix with water on the go. My electrolytes frequently get out of balance and drinking only water doesn’t help with that. The single use packets are convenient. I purchased the watermelon flavor and was surprised by how good it tasted without a horrible aftertaste. I live in an area where temps routinely reach triple digits in summer. I will drink this with water before starting yard work, as needed during breaks from the heat, and afterwards. I’ve noticed a big difference! I’m impressed with this product.

    I can’t speak for the other flavors so I am only reviewing the watermelon which taste horrible. I have used electrolyte hydration before so you expect the salty taste but this flavor is also bitter. Not for me at all. UPDATE: I am updating this because although I gave this flavor a one star, I feel like the customer service deserves credit! Even though I did not ask, they reached out to me to make this right and in this day and age that was very refreshing.

    Taste good at first. Once you reach near the end of the drink it has a terrible after taste. I shake the heck out of it in my stainless steel thermos. I’ve had many of them. If you can get past the aftertaste they aren’t terrible.

    Edit: 5 stars because of how wonderful their customer service is.

    Not very flavorful. Could hardly taste the watermelon, however, I will say it is better if your water is icy cold. You have to mix it when water is room temperature and then put it in the fridge to get cold or it is tasteless. Prefer the peach mango which is very good without all the extra work of mixing and then cooling in the fridge but I thought I’d try something different.
