I hadn’t realized how much sugar and carbs I was eating until I decided to write down every gram.
I’ve been unable to sit, stand or walk for over 4 years because of chronic pain in my back, neck and hips. I was old and sick before my time. Everything hurt and I couldn’t sleep because I was in such pain.
Anyway, I started on an LCLS diet to help address the inflammation and severe legs cramps (Charlie horse’s). Moved onto keto for 10 seconds before I realized that I needed to eliminate everything and only add what wouldn’t cause inflammation and sleeplessness. Hello, CARNIVORE!
In less than 2 weeks, I’d lost 25 pounds and was able to walk a mile! It’s now, been 5 weeks and I have so much energy, a clear head, calm, stable mood, strength, stamina, very little pain and I am able to regularly get to sleep and stay asleep. Not to mention, my weight is dropping faster than I ever thought it could and my skin, hair and nails have seen a vast improvement, in such a short time. If I went living it, I wouldn’t believe it.
But, those 1st 2 weeks were hellacious because I didn’t know about Keto Chow. I had severe withdrawals from the massive amounts of suffer and carbs I was eating. Keto Chow is a lifesaver. I mix it up in 30 fl oz of water, 1 Tblsp of Bragg’s ACV, 1/2 tsp Keto Chow, juice of 1 lemon, 1 tsp Redmond mineral sea salt and 1/8 tsp Stevia liquid and drink it throughout the day. It’s delicious. Make sure to use a glass container and a metal straw because the ACV will eat away at plastic and you don’t want to ingest plastic…lol. This seriously lasted me months. Amazing product for the price. I like that I can mix it into a little shot of water in the evening without having to have a big flavored fizzy drink like the other magnesiums I have used. I do think my sleep was way better after using this every evening for a few days.

It took awhile before it kicked in. I tried all kinds of ways to take this and they were all lousy tasting. So I went for broke and threw the 1/2 teaspoon down my throat, momentarily winced and chugg-a-lugged a bottle of water until the taste went away. It didn’t take long. I highly recommend room temperature water. Cold water kept the taste in my mouth. I tried at first putting it in some water and drinking it that way. Blech. I tried putting it in some water with lemon. Blech. I tried putting it in some water with lemon and a sweetner. That was disgusting. So now I just take a half teaspoon of it and immediately drink some water. It seems to help me sleep better but it gives me more BMs than I used to have. I don’t mind though due to knowing I’m getting my magnesium. Thanks keto chow.

Don’t worry it’s not just you, one of the hosts on their youtube channel said dozens of times in one video how bad the Magnesium drops taste which left me scratching my head because 1/2 a teaspoon in 1 liter of purified plain ol water made it taste so much better. Took away the hard taste that some water can have so I’m so confused why the hosts of their own youtube channel would say it’s terrible tasting when that is so far off the mark from my experience. Did I happen to get a bottle that didn’t really contain Magnesium? This is my first time trying anything like this so I have nothing to reference. Help?
