I ordered the product based on the anti inflammatory and allergy properties and the reviews. When I opened the bag and got my first whiff I almost vomited – no lie. It was like a stale fish tank covered in algae x 1000. I thought dang I wasted my money. There’s no way I’ll be able to choke this stuff down (I’ve choked down some nasty stuff in the name of good health) So I mixed a tsp with 1 1/2 inch water, it did not dissolve and my gag reflux was on overdrive. I put it into my vita mix with more water, xl handful of spinach and a generous squeeze of mio water flavor. Blended it up good and pored it over ice. I held my nose. I closed my eyes. I took a drink and it was doable! Not bad and not great but totally drinkable. Didn’t taste or smell the algae. Instructions say up to one tablespoon in a smoothly a few times a week. Baby steps friends. I’m at 1 teaspoon in a smoothly a few times a week. May never be able to do more but will see. The smell? well there’s just nothing quite like it. Hubby caught a whiff (left bag slightly open) and thought something had died. It says 1-3 weeks for results but the day I made it I didn’t need any of my anti inflammatory or tension headaches meds so I will power on and choke it down – with my nose plugged.

This is fishy and very strong. I have to add a lot of sugar to make it palatable. It’s not easy to whisk or clean. BUT it’s supposed to be the best food for you in the world! So I will continue to make it. But I won’t purchase it again.

So far so good. I appreciate the quality and value. The 32oz was worth it. My only issue is with the packaging. I wish it came in a more compact container because since half of the bag is empty, you have to reach in there to scoop it out with a teaspoon and it gets all over my hand if I’m not extremely careful. I just used a jar to put some of it in so that doesn’t keep happening.
